Which is why Sheets just signed for $10m+, and Bedard's a whole lot cheaper, despite the fact that he's been a better pitcher when healthy in recent years.Bedard = more risk, more reward. I'm completely ok with that. I think the Mariners taking a flyer on a guy who could give them a better top 3 than any staff in history I can think of for a relatively small amount is a very smart gamble.
