Pack vs. Jacksonville (1 Viewer)

For those watching...is it Terry Cousin with coverage responsibility on Jones? How have the Jags DB's looked?
It is all slot work. Green Bush running a lot of 3 WR which is probobly thier best personel package.Drive that went well mixed personel up with TE packages. Both Franks and Lee had 20+ yard catches on seam patterns after running a lot of drags with the WRs leading up to that.

Not sure if its Cousin or who but Jones getting the 3rd corner or safety for sure. Starting corners have been on Driver and Jennings.
Thats cousin. For the record, Reggie Nelson not playing today- Sammy Knight started.

Rodgers continues to impress me this summer. He looks like a totally different QB. And it's not just the 70's porn star look he's sporting.

I'm guessing Driver will be fine unless something popped on top of his foot. It was stretched, not turned, like a hyper-extended foot. Feet are very resilient to that particular stress. But I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn last night, so...

from my studies they say Jones is a standout in camp and Jennings has been hurt and mostly ignored....thats not good for me as a Jennings owner.

They need to get Jones and Jennings out of there and put in the last string. They are going to get them killed.

I didn't think that was him at first, he looks more like Kurt Vonnegut than some 23 year old kid.

Glad I have Jennings....who is Jones again?
I have Jennings...but I just now dropped Troy Williamson to pick up Jones... I thought Jones could sit as a FA for a while, but after this game and Drivers injury I dont think so..I really wanted to gamble on Troy...but thats the way it goes....think I did right?

The way Favre favors Jones, and being the team Williamson is on, I agree with you!

Jags passing has been horrible. I have never seen what you guys do in Leftwich.Sideline pass to Northcutt then almost identical play to Wilford. that's it.Oh wait and Leftwich led Reggie into the defender
Agreed Bri....Lefty just dosen't do it for me either
Are you suggesting Garrard is a better option?
No I think Garrard is a fine backup. Well he may be better....I don't know, he's a backup IMO. I have thought for a few years now that if they sign a good QB they are winning+in the playoffs
Absolutely. But with the sort of system they run now, which calls for a QB to go through more progessions, play action, and more down field and not just entrusting the QB to be a game manager, Leftwich is a better fit than Garrard. He looks like he finally has it grasped in practice and really has been gushing about it all season, I can't understand for the life of me why he is struggling. For the record I put more blame on the receivers than most but he still seems uncomfortable out there. He's efficient and smart. If he was consistent, the Jags would be much more serious contenders.

seems like excuses to meprogressions and play action are what every team doesrely on the run game alot, many teams do.....excuses IMO

Not an apologist. Just saying he's a much better fit than Garrard who has shown inability to read through his progressions and has a tendency to jump the gun, leading to INT's. If a better option surfaces, and there may not be one this upcoming draft, I think the Jaguars pull the trigger. If its an upgrade , I'm on board. I am not content with Garrard as a starting option however. No excuses here.

How do these announcers not know that the Driver injury is the most important thing happening right now? I'm sure even non-fantasy football fans, are more interested in Driver than anything else going on right now. Show us more replays so we can pretend to be doctors dammit!
