One guy, Chris Havel, seems to think that AJ Hawk and Abdul HOdge are not three of the best Packer LBs, and they are better w/ Brady Poppinga and Ben Taylor in there.
I realize rookies have there trials, but What is he smoking?

Seems to me he is right on point. He said the best linebackers RIGHT NOW are Brady and Ted based on preseason game performance; the rookies are playing like rookies. Unless you saw the preseason game and saw it just the opposite, what is there to debate.

Unless you live under a rock and have never seen these guys in real games(albeit College) then you smoke too much dope. Hawk and Hodge are legit both will be starters for a long time in Green Bay. They both play NFL played in NFL style Defenses and will have no problem transitioning. I hope the other guys in my league think like you do. All i know is im drafting Defense big time this year. We have 20 keepers. Im rolling up Hawk, Huff and Simms if i can.
Hodge has looked great and hopefully will be a special teams demon this season, but it is difficult to see how he gets on the field with Barnett playing virtually every snap. Hawk is a lock at Will and Barnett can't play strong side.

Hopefully this does not become a "what can Barnett do and not do" thread again but just for clarification, Barnett came into the Pro's as a SLB from college. It is more of him not wanting to move than it is him not moving. IMO, they are not moving him for no other reason than not wanting to have two rookies lined up next to each other in Hawk and Hodge.
