John Czarnecki of FoxSports reports Green Bay is targeting the third preseason game as a return date for Ahman Green.

That would be August 28 at Cincinnati. Samkon Gado and Noah Herron have received the bulk of camp carries with Green (thigh) out and Najeh Davenport (ankle) limited. We're staying away from Green in all leagues.

I don't like Green. Even if he is the Week 1 starter I don't see him staying healthy for the entire season or being effective. I think Gado will emerge as the RB with the most carries this season. Davenport represents the best value right now because he can be had real late in most drafts. He's definitely worth a flyer in my opinion if you have the bench room. He's talented; he simply has never shown he can stay healthy.
