Packers signed OLB Brandon Chillar to a two-year, $5.2 million contract. Another $800,000 is available in incentives.
Chillar doesn't possess the upside most 25-year-olds do, but isn't weak in any area and plays a hard to find position on the strong side. Brady Poppinga will likely now come off the bench, though there will be competition. The Pack will have linebacker depth in 2008, something it got away without last year.
