paid league fee but owner drops out (1 Viewer)

I had an owner dropped out of one of my dynasty leagues due to personal issues/matters. She is not requesting the $150 fee back. What would you do?

Find a new owner that is willing to pay the fee and repay the previous owner?

Find a new owner and let them play for free?

Find a new owner and make them pay something?

If this is a redraft as opposed to a bad dynasty team I wouldtry to find a new owner and ask them to pay and refund the person who dropped out. If I had to discount the team to find a new owner I would refund the amount to cover a 1 teamm cost. In any case, you should talk with the owner dropping out and make sure they are OK with doing whatever you decide.

dynasty team. that team is OK. the funny thing is she was a replacement owner. she just took over the team a month ago. I know my brother in law will take the team for free

Fine a new owner and fast..but lower the entry fee for all with the extra 150...or get a new owner and add the 150 to prizes!

Again, I would discuss this with her first so you both have an understanding. You should make an honest effort to find an owner willing to pay most if not all the league fee and refund her the extra. I would think she would be fine with that plan.

i would try to find someone who'll pay - at least part - and if not give to your bil. the league needs to get a good owner in there. i'm sure she understands that. i know if i paid and had to drop out, i'd feel bad and want the team replaced so as not to screw anyone up. but if it was able to be done and i still got some money back, that would be good, too! i would not ask for it, though, i don't think.

i do have 3 solid owners in another dynasty league I run that will take over for free. since it is a dynasty league I want a long term owner not just a one year owner

I would have them play for "free" this year, but require that they pay for 2008. Only after that 2nd season would I have them pay at the same time everyone else does.

sorry this went over my head. just frustrated with this league. I had to replace 2 original owners(both good friends of mine) and now I have to replace a replacement owner.
