Paint guys (or professional handymen). Painting in cold weather? (1 Viewer)

The company that replaced my roof has been dragging their feet on painting the front of our house. It was part of the total claim for the incident and they said they would take care of everything. They showed up this afternoon to paint. High temperature was 35 degrees. It hasn't been above 40 degrees in the past 7 days and it's the North side of the house. They were supposed to apply two coats. I don't think it's possible in the amount of time they had available.

Question for the painting pros. What are the odds that this paint will peel or bubble in the near future?

Sherwin Williams makes a low temp paint, but on the north side you may have frost on your house and moisture from the night before.

We had a client who was a painter, and he would not paint in those temps. You will most likely have an issue long term.

Going to be trouble. I just called the painter that did the inside of my house to get a quote to do the outside. He told me he wouldn't even do his own house in the winter. Temps about 45 in my hood.
