Panthers at Bucs (1 Viewer)

This one is going to be a pressure cooker.

Fantasy aspects aside...may be this weekends most interesting game.

At least the Raiders get a weekend off to try and regroup.

I'm curious to see if the crowd rallies around the Bucs...or if they turn on Simms and we witness a meltdown.

The Gruden grimace in HD is going to be priceless.

This is the most interesting game of 0-2 teams. The most interesting game is in Indy where Jack rolls into town. Either way, I don't think either of these teams are going to the playoffs now. I guess anything can happen but Atl has the fast track on the Divison title IMO.

not too many teams can come back from an 0-3 hole (chargers started 0-5 once & i think made playoffs within last decade)...

that said, CAR has been down this road before recently, & overcame an abominable start & came within one game at the end of making playoffs (04?)...

they have the talent & fox is a great HC, so i like CARs chance to rebound better than TB if they lose... i think if bucs lose they are done... especially with ATL looking so good it would almost have to be a wildcard... not sure if 9-7 would do it, so they would have to go 10-3 in last 13 games... & with NFC south looking pretty tough, i think that division also gets NFC east...

i expect CAR to win sunday...

If TB loses, yes they are eliminated from the playoff hunt. If Carolina loses, I would not count them out just yet. I say it for 2 reasons. 1. TB would be 0-2 at home while Carolina would be 0-1 at home so they'd still have 7 more home games on their schedule. 2. Carolina has Steve Smith injured and will be much much better when/if he comes back 100%, TB has a healthy roster for the most part with no one coming back that will give them a big boost or make them a better team than they are right now.

I think this is a MUST win for Carolina. TB, is at the bottom of the pack in the NFC with a -4 turover ratio. Simms has looked like a pee-wee leaguer, his confidence is down, and Gruden looks befudled. I expect Carolina to win, and if Smith comes back, that should push them over the top.Im thinking long hard about taking this one oin the suicide.
