**Panthers at Jets**(+1.5, 41) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Garrett Wilson is such a huge loss for the Jets. I honestly wonder if the Jets are like 70% runs as long as the game is close. In theory should be a great environment for Breece Hall, though Panthers have slowed down Achane/Javonte the last 2 weeks. Those teams didn't have the read option threat Fields is though. I could see this being a game where Hall gets stuffed a lot, but breaks 1-2 big ones, and ends with top-10 numbers.

Sauce/McMillan should be fun. I'd probably treat McMillan more like a WR3 in this one. I do think we get close to a 50-50 split between Chuba and Dowdle this week. I guess I'd prefer Dowdle but they are both in the 20s for me at RB.

I think the Jets pull off the upset (imagine before the season calling a home win over the Panthers an upset for anyone) to avoid going 0-7.

Panfers 27 - Jest 10. I think the jest try the wish bone this week. AG defers in the first and second half and afterwards indicates he was playing for a 0-0 tie. this game will make me long for glenn foley, with browning nagle backing him up.

Rico has been rolling
While The Jets would rather go bowling
Panthers haven't been as good on the road
Could that keep The Jets from turning into a toad

J-E-T-S- 23

Carolina- 20

New York Jets rookie tight end Mason Taylor is poised to see a more significant target share this weekend when his team squares off with the Carolina Panthers. The LSU alum's usage was trending in the right direction over the previous few weeks, but his production bottomed out in a tough matchup with the Broncos in London.

What the heck is Nick Cross supposed to do?

This is completely ridiculous. Fields is anywhere from looks like 18-20 MPH and slides on an RPO??

Stupid. Stupid QB. Stupid team.

The Jets make everyone involved with them 20 IQ points dumber from the jump.

I want to say that FBG was one of if not the lowest rank of Justin Fields I saw all week, outside Top 20 I believe
I saw Fields being a sneaky pick on other sites this week, certainly Top 15-20 on a lot of sites

There are Redraft related matters to much of this but nobody cares about my roster

And just . . . you shake you head. He can’t throw a ball to his running backs.

So an errant pass and then an RPO on second and long.

. . . Annnnd the Jets get a personal foul on the guard after the play. 3rd and forever.

This ****ing team. Done. Only follow it and tell the truth about everything I see.

Aaron Glenn is ****ing dumb. I mean, not that he’s of average intelligence or that he isn’t an NFL genius.

No, Aaron Glenn is a ****ing stupid human being. One of the dumbest, thinnest-skinned, most incompetent coaches I’ve ever seen. This guy makes Grady Little look like a ****ing MENSA scholar.
Tell us how you really feel.

I can’t wait until they trade Breece so that I don’t have any fantasy investment in this sinkhole.

It’s not even that they lose. I’ve witnessed massively unwatchable losing seasons for many years. It’s been since 2015 that you could watch the Jets and have hope. It starts with Woody, who isn’t very bright to begin with. Nepo wealth and clearly acts like it. And then it always seems to flow from there.

This organization is just so stupid in every respect. I mean, our marquee player in the eighties was Mark Gastineau and if you know about that you just shake your head. When you try and think of “great” Jets who were national star you think of Joe Namath (floor length mink coats and “I wanna kiss you” sunsets) and Mark Gastineau. Then you think of the days in the late aughts and you think of Rex Ryan and his bluster and foolishness.

It’s a loss of IQ points all the way down, forever.

Yep. I get that would seem nearly unhinged. It really isn’t. It’s what nobody seems to have the ability to say.

He had a press conference where the people with access didn’t ask him some pretty easy questions that would have settled a bunch of stuff with him. It was ridiculous. The most charitable thing you could say about it was that he didn’t know how far the snap was on a field goal by at least a yard. If one was honest about what was being expressed by Glenn, one would say that it demonstrated a lack of communication skills, a paucity of knowledge about the game he’s coaching, a confusion about rudimentary football rules, and a stunningly infirm grasp of basic mathematics.

The only thing you could say that would have been charitable was that he didn’t know how far the snap was on a field goal by at least a yard, and what was really being expressed was about ten times worse. Stunning.
I've been a Lions fan since 1970 so I get it.

Yep. I know you’re a Lions fan that has seen a lot in your days. And you’ve seen Aaron Glenn. There must be some games and decisions that are just feeling different in retrospect once you’ve seen this. I know I was hoping that even though we hired a defensive coordinator who refused to adjust to injuries in Detroit (it seems now and it did seem then to me) by maybe playing a bit of zone or soft coverage shells. This insistence on man-to-man schemes might have been okayed by the head coach, but might have been as unwise as I thought and might have betrayed a stubbornness and unwillingness to adjust to given conditions that has hindered him so far here and might be his downfall.

hall gonna be done for the day
What happened?
routine jet run into the guards with hall and he stayed down for a bit. walked off, slight limp, slammed helmet on ground and limped to locker room with davis handling the 2 minute stuff. looked like an ankle sprain to me. wasn’t readily obvious.

Yeah, that’s terrible for him, the Jets, and my fantasy squad. My team is . . . not deep.
He's back in. Good news. Bad news? Jets still suck. Ok news? Tyrod is better than Fields
