did a search and couldnt find a dedicated Peterson thread

i was listening on the radio and the announcer seemed to mention Peterson's name alot for all the wrong reasons

"_____________ makes the catch and a trailing Peterson makes the tackle"

"Peterson burned deep by __________________"

"____________ is getting open every play" (peterson's guy)

p.s. these weren't even the OAK's #1's

i drafted Peterson in a league that starts CBs, hoping his cover skills are better than this first attempt or else looks like i just paid high corner draft pick for a safety

anyone get a better sense of his play on TV than I did on radio

I didn't get to see the game, but locally people are saying he did "ok" -- nothing great, but nothing to be worried about after his first preseason game.

From Somers' blog:

-- CB Patrick Peterson, the fifth overall pick. Whisenhunt thought Peterson did OK. He didn't get as much work as some other corners, but will in the coming weeks.

and Somers' made no mention of PP in his game evaluation blog.

Like I said, I didn't watch the game, but I certainly haven't heard on sports radio or in the local papers any "concern" for how PP is doing.
