I think Vegas has this one pretty on the nose. Cards are the better team and need it more, but they've also been floundering a bit of late.
I think this is a James Conner game. I think he'll be hitting chunk gains all day, and I think the long national nightmare ends and Trey McBride finally catches a TD.
For NE, this feels like a game where Drake Maye's legs keep his fantasy week afloat. Not really all that interested in any other Patriot unless desperate. I think the offense will move the ball, but little confidence in anyone other than Maye.
There have reports that Mayo's job is safe and reports that depending on what happens in these last 4 games it may not be...outside of watching Drake Maye that is what is happening with the Pats...definitely not a season to remember.

Mayo and Co. being retained feels like the most likely outcome, mainly because Kraft will want to avoid the optics of firing everyone. I wouldn’t mind it if there were enough positive signs, but outside of Maye I can’t think of any. The offseason was a disaster (yet again) and I can’t imagine it’ll get any better as long as the current regime is still intact. Coaching staff is clueless and the front office kept trying to put a square peg in a round hole with bringing in career right tackles to play left tackle. They haven’t given me a lot of trust that they’ll take advantage of the extra cap space and draft picks this coming offseason. I’d feel a lot better with some new leadership.

Not a fan of what I have seen from the Mayo regime, and I have zero issues moving on from him, but I can handle him coming back for one more year because there is only so much damage he can do in their current state...I don't feel that way about Wolf...this offseason is far too important to let him call the shots...they screw this up and it won't matter who is coaching.

I wouldn’t rule out Mayo being a good HC down the line, but right now he’s directionless and doesn’t have much help with his handpicked guys either. I don’t see it getting any better with them. Like you I’m done with Wolf and want to see a wholesale change in the front office, and that’s partially why I think moving on from Mayo would be best because any GM coming in will want to hire his own guy for the HC job rather than inherit Mayo and his staff.

I probably mentioned this before but Greg Bedard has a great point about how the Kraft’s didn’t do Mayo any favors by basically anointing him as the next HC as opposed to getting it thru the traditional interview process…in the normal process a candidate has to have a presentation that includes what type of program they will run and how they will run it…stuff like a potential staff is part of this…because Mayo skipped over that part he feels he was not as prepared as he should have been…when you look at how the staff was randomly put together it is tough to not agree with this.
