**Patriots at Dolphins**(-2, 43.5) 1:00 (2 Viewers)

RT Austin Jackson (toe) was placed on IR joining RG Daniels. Tua's blind side will be protected by backups Kion Smith and Larry Borom, a castoff from the Bears. Expect lots of short passes.

What's the earliest firing of a coach in the NFL? The earliest firing of a GM?

BTW, I have some faith in the defense, especially the front 7, that's going on the feeling that the Colts with Jones is a good offense and last week was an aberration.

I'm honestly a little surprised Miami is favored. This looks like the worst defense in the NFL. I think the Colts could have scored 50 if they had wanted to. I think the Patriots pass game really gets going this week. Boutte, Diggs, and Henry should all be ranked higher than normal.

I think this is gonna be a dink and dunk show for the Dolphins (sure would be great to have Jonnu for this one) so I have no concerns about Achane, but even in what isn't a rough matchup (neither was week 1) I'm not super enthused about Hill/Waddle.

I think the Patriots win outright.

Let's discuss weather or the fact USF-Miami has been delayed for 90 minutes, game kicked off at 4:30
Flash flooding type rain/storm on top of Hard Rock right now...be interesting to see what the field looks like tomorrow for the Phins-Pats game

Miami 23...New England 21

Hard to take the Phins seriously after last week but the Patriots didn't look that much better vs the Raiders

-If the pats were to win going away like Indy last week, there could be house cleaning as soon as Monday
The NFL is weird but most of us know what we saw last week in Indy

Wonder how much Buffalo will be favored on TNF...Buff -8, Buff -11, Buff-14+

What's the weather looking like down there? Seeing reports of 40% chance of moderate showers.
Isolated thunderstorms starting around 4pm. Much better than yesterday but still a chance of rain during gametime.

More impactful... 87 degrees and 65% humidity, no wind. Feels like will get into the high 90s.

Big game for the Pats...usually they can chalk up at Miami as a loss but after last week's disappointing second half against Vegas there is far more urgency to this game...the media is starting to circle and a win here gives Vrabel some breathing room...most realistic fans were hoping for a 1-1 start with this game being the loss...win here and things settle down in Foxboro.

NE has been just plain awful playing in MIA. They are 2-12 since 2013. They are 0-5 since Brady left, losing by an average of 11 ppg.

Sounds like a trend just waiting to be broken. :suds:

As much as the Pats might be in the early stages of digging themselves out of a deep hole, I'll take them (and today's Fantasy Stats) over a Dolphins Team that appears to be hell-bent on digging their own grave, courtesy of a bad HC, a bad QB, a bad O-Line and a bad locker room.

Henderson with his third penalty (one declined)...Pats need to get more disciplined.
Disappointed how few touches he is getting in a game where he could be a difference maker, he's gotta go back in the garage fora while
Major disappointment thus far on a guy that went from a 6th round pick to a 3rd round pick after preseason

Miami's front 7 getting pushed around. I thought it would a strength.

Too soon to crown Henderson as their top RB, he hasn't been good in pass pro. And Stevenson has alot left in the tank.
