**Patriots at Titans**(+7, 42) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Could be a little revenge game for Mike Vrabel, and Harold Landry to a lesser extent, as Ward has been sacked a ton. I do think the Titans could have some success rushing, shame its between 2-RBs. Spears in particular offers some nice PPR upside.

Titans pass D is basically terrible other than McCreary, who likely mostly covers Douglas in the slot. I think Diggs and Henry could have bounce back games, and don't think its necessarily point chasing to sneak Boutte into some lineups. Even in this matchup, I think the RBs are TD or bust.

Patriots cover, and don't look now, but could be tied for the #1 seed by week's end if things break right.

Well there should be a note that when you predict lesser teams to do well you're usually wrong.
For example many had the Titans winning last week and now many have the Pats dominant this week.
I don't disagree but neither team is all that so there's a hmmm I wanted to throw in here.

Spillane is a lot like Gray- lots of tackles but ya notice they're kind of late. Run games should be fine.
Sweat's return means Pats have little choices but to run outside and with the Titans edges injured, that'll be like a welcome mat laid out.
I'm very curious if this is the Treyveon big game fans have been waiting for.
Maye is probably coached up to be ready to run too with the edges out.

The Titans are down Calvin Ridley! Does that matter? Seriously.
The shine has wore off Elic and Dike has yet to at WR. Oliver tried but couldn't make it back. Van Jefferson (admittedly in best shape of career and shocking over summer) is their only hope? Or is it Lockett?
Yall are seeing how big a deal I said it was to promote Elic to starter before he was ready and to hand Dike a job he clearly wasn't close to ready for. Who does Cam have to throw to now that things are out of sorts?
It would be a different world had they just stayed status quo and let the rookies work in.

I think we'll see Chig or Gunnar become Gates to the offense just like McCoy's in SD. Maybe Cam told to force it if he must like to Arroyo.

I think we may see Spears and Pollard as typical RBs catching passes in typical manner that we really didn't see much under Callahan.

Ya gotta notice how often Ward looks and has nothing and wonder what's going thru his head. That's gotta be so hauntingly negative. The prior two points would help Cam's mental game.

Vrabel is going to be chomping at the bit to face a rookie QB and probably tell stories how Belichick took the souls of rookie QBs.
I want the Titans to be open to sitting Cam if the game gets out of hand.

Denard Wilson is probably going to show the league how talented he is. Idk how he's gonna overcome no edges but I didn't know how he'd start journeymen and do well with UDFAs either. Idk if this guy is the next great head coach but he makes lemonade with lemons and we stink. I hope he reminds people and they let him be the HC next year. The roster will still have tons of holes and we're gonna need someone that can do what he does.

New coach Vrabel had no venom and just took what was given. Once arrogant, he did some weird things to like try and defeat a team's morale. If he's planning to run at their two great DL or throw a lot at Snead and Hooker this game will be a ton closer than expected and Pats fans will get a glimpse of his huge ego.

Like so.many teams, we played down to opponents with him, but I thought no no because he changed, we did.

I'm a Vrabel fan. Heckuva coach. But he needed to eat crow and change his ways and I'm hoping he has because then he has a glowing bright future. You do not want to see his ego tomorrow as if it's a tangible object. Just win and go home

The Titans are open for business on every player but QB Cam Ward and DT Jeffery Simmons.

That's pretty huge thing to tell her as their former coach comes to town and may want some former players

It's definitely a honeymoon period in NE at the moment, but Vrable has been consistently humble and player-focused season to date. Almost to the point where the pendulum has swung too far and there's not enough crushing the souls of under-performing players and opponents....but that may just be projection of the long lost BB era :shades:

Personally, as the limitations of the Titans' secondary is a known thing, I'd like to see NE concentrate on the running game and yards after contact.

Pollard would be great...I'm not sure I believe anything Russini says however....here last nugget was that the Pats aren't interested in adding skill position and instead want to add cornerbacks and edge rushers. Having said that, she makes a living at this and I'm just some internet schmuck.

After the big Buffalo win last week was the let's just get out here with a win against a lesser opponent on the road...this week I would like to see a no doubt we are the better team win...fully expect Drake Maye to be the best player on the field and would really like to see the running game start to turn things around and do their part.

It may not seem like a big thing, but it wouldn't bother me if the Pats added a solid TE...either an athletic pass-catcher or a road-grader would not hurt...would like to see a little more diversity added to that unit.

Mike's coming back to say the least
With a team that he thinks can win The East
Drake is playing like an M.V.P.
While Cam has looked like he's drowning at sea
I fear for the young pup
As I think Vrabel will run it up

Patriots- 40

Titans- 13

I think Ward has only thrown to rookies so far.

Pats had like 8 per carry running outside then decided to run up the gut and get a FG

Jeffery Simmons is still in the blue tent. Quandre Diggs just went in to check on him. He's been in there for a bit but just emerged and is standing with a trainer. He's trying to stretch and run it off on the sideline while the #Titans offense is on the field.

Gunnar may have had the first pass on each drive and nothing else

Chig shifted wide on a couple this drive

Gunnar and some Patriot looked secondary. Two others were pushing and jawing as the main guys in that

Does it matter in second half?

Why is the Patriots center uncomfortably sideways?
What's he doing?
Sack

It wasn't on him but something happened there

Titans DT Jeffery Simmons made a crying face at Patriots HC Mike Vrabel after Vrabel was complaining about a potential facemask.

I missed that earlier 🤣

Brady is definitely bringing that up on his show since he's also friends with Vrabel

How come James Williams isn't going in when Barton is stinking?

I really wonder if Vrabel will try n trade a sandwich for him
