I guess I'm just missing the part where it said he was getting cut, which is what you seem to be suggesting was being talked about last week--that it was actually going to happen (and is not what the article you posted was saying). It wasn't until yesterday that this stuff gained credible steam, with sources saying it was actually imminent.

Although, the larger point is the value of PFT. Despite what KL says, there wasn't talk about the imminent release of Leftwich until yesterday morning. It wouldn't make any sense for that to come out a week ago. The rumblings came down yesterday morning. THAT'S the issue here, and I think rumor mills (like PFT) are great scoops on this stuff. Sometimes wrong, but most of the time, they get it right.

I can see Basement of 60 - 950 - 6 and a ceiling of 80 - 1350 and 15 -- pretty much who da hell knows with this guy..

They were saying that he was getting cut yesterday. That's what I was referring to. If you misunderstood that, that's a you problem, not a me problem.

A little surprised that Garrett Mills got cut but that must mean that David Thomas is ready to go. No need to carry more than 3 TE's. And Heath Evans having a good preseason meant the deathknell for Mills.

They took Thomas off the PUP list. Unless Mills improves his blocking he's going to have issues sticking in the NFL.
