even though the Bills are playing much better lately and should be 6-2 right now, the result in this game probably won't be much different from the last time these two teams met. After waiting 13 years for a prime time home game, the Buffalo Bills only had to wait about six weeks for a second one. The National Football League announced today that the Bills' home game Nov. 18 with the currently unbeaten New England Patriots has been moved from Sunday afternoon to NBC's Sunday Night Football package. It is scheduled to begin around 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Bills' three-game winning streak has helped them hit prime time about six weeks after their dramatic, last-second loss to Dallas was carried on ESPN. It is the first time a Bills game has been moved into prime time since the league began its flex schedule, which allows NBC to put on a more exciting game than the one scheduled.
That is week 11.Can we safely assume there won't be any swaps for the Week 11 games then? I thought the first opportunity for flex scheduling was in Week 11.

I'm putting the over/under on number of arrests at the stadium at 200. There were 63 in the monday night game, in a closely contested game against a team that local fans don't hate. Throw in 10,000 pompous patriots fans into the mix and we'll have 3 or 4 x that this time around.even though the Bills are playing much better lately and should be 6-2 right now, the result in this game probably won't be much different from the last time these two teams met. After waiting 13 years for a prime time home game, the Buffalo Bills only had to wait about six weeks for a second one. Can't imagine them changing that.Got tix to that game - taking my 6 year old to his first professional game.Should be sweeeeeeeet.November 18th is Week 11.Flex Scheduling actually starts Week 10 but nobody wants to swap out Indy-SD.Can we safely assume there won't be any swaps for the Week 11 games then? I would like to think that no Bills fan is stupid enough to do something like that, but the statistics on stadium arrests posted earlier in this thread might make me reconsider that hypothesis. So how long before we see the "bills are going to smack patriots in the mouth" thread/
I'm not convinced that buffalo fans are as bad as fans of some of the teams on this board.didn't see any miami fans popping off --- fans of that division seem to know their football. I hope they get blown out week 11, but most other weeks I root for buffalo in their games. So how long before we see the "bills are going to smack patriots in the mouth" thread/
Bears/Seahawks...I'm personally surprised they didn't move the Skins/Cowboys game. What game was NBC gonna show before they chose this one?

I always feel like Buffalo has a terrible schedule. Was it last year or the year before where they played like 4 teams in a row coming off of byes? Just ridiculous.btw, this is the fourth season in a row that the Bills will face the Patriots immediately after their bye week. weird scheduling quirk. not like the Pats need an extra week to prepare for these games.
Actually, NE has only won 8 in a row, after being shut out by the Bills in the season opener in 2003.The Bills nearly beat them in 2005 in Foxboro, until the defense collapsed midway through the 4th quarter.even though the Bills are playing much better lately and should be 6-2 right now, the result in this game probably won't be much different from the last time 10 times these two teams met. After waiting 13 years for a prime time home game, the Buffalo Bills only had to wait about six weeks for a second one. The Cowboys have already maxed out their quota of night games. None of their remaining games will be moved.Bears/Seahawks...I'm personally surprised they didn't move the Skins/Cowboys game. What game was NBC gonna show before they chose this one?
I'm sure if it were up to NE, they would rather have one of their more challenging games scheduled after their bye. This scheduling irregularity is probably irritating for both camps.btw, this is the fourth season in a row that the Bills will face the Patriots immediately after their bye week. weird scheduling quirk. not like the Pats need an extra week to prepare for these games.
Fixed.I'm thrilled and astonished that the first flex change is going to put the Bills Patriots game featuring the Bills in the role of the Washington Generals on TV

I think they move it - I'm sure Fox is upset because the Eagle game would be one of their two chances to show the Pats this year, and otherwise, NE not only has 2 straight Sunday night games, but a Monday night game the following week.I think they switch out Philly-NE for Minnesota-NYG, so NBC can showcase Peterson, plus the Giants are good this year.ETA: this series of events would make both Fox happy (get a Pats game) and NBC doesn't lose a Pats game in the process.Right now the Eagles-Pats game is on the schedule for the Sunday night game the following week on Nov 25. Are they gonna move that game to the afternoon or give the Pats 2 straight Sunday night games? There are already 3 Turkey day games that week so there are less to chose from on Sunday
After the thread entitled "BYE week punches NE in the mouth" runs its course in the FFA forum. So how long before we see the "bills are going to smack patriots in the mouth" thread/
Yeah, no kidding... That was the first prime time game in Buffalo in how many years? I heard tailgating started 2+ days prior for some people... I would guess most of those arrests were harmless.
