Now that both teams have wrapped up their week 8 games, we can begin to really look forward to the big game. I know that both of these teams have their fans and detractors in the Pool. I also know that many are fans of neither of these teams. EVen so, vote on which team you will be cheering for, or which you hope to see win.

I friggin' hate the Patriots, but I have my own, personal bias. Rams fan.

Need I say more.

I will never draft Vinatieri in my fantasy league, however, if he hits the game winner against the Pats I may actually forgive him for doing the same to the Rams in the Super Bowl.

Please change the title to "How many of you are Patriot fans?"
I understand what you are saying, but it was not too long ago that the Colts were the great team that was getting bashed around here. I think that was mostly jealousy. Some of the Patriot hate is as well, but much of it is due to them "rubbing it in" every week. The way they go about things makes it very easy to root against the Patriots.

I will be rooting for the colts. I've pretty much always been a Brady fan and thought he was a much better QB than Manning, but this years Patriots have rubbed me the wrong way. I still love Brady and would love to see him get the TD record, but not by throwing on 4th down with a good lead like they have this year.

Belicheck has lost some respect this year I think..

I want the Patriots to go 16-0. It's time for the old codgers in Miami to put away the champagne glasses. Even better will be if the Dolphins to go 0-16 at the same time.

Seeing this coming and having adjusted my preseason fantasy rankings accordingly certainly affects my stance.

It will make the pathetic and brain-dead Pats fan set here even less tolerable than they are already, but that's OK, no one forces me to visit the Shark Pool.

I don't want to see Brady, Moss and BB doing the same thing, I can stomach the 72 Fins, not this team...

 Pats are the least likable team in the NFL. Pats fans have quickly morphed into being the most tool-ish fans in the NFL.This poll is going to be Colts in a landslide.

Like I said.. my current fantasy situation in a couple leagues definitely affects my opinionI really don't find the Patriots THAT unlikeable though. Yeah Belichick has no soul, but that's probably God's fault.

Reluctantly pulling for the Pats because I am a Manning owner who's in a league with a Week 17 title game.

If Indy loses this game, there's a much greater chance Manning has to play a full game in the final week.

The GOOD news this week for Manning owners:

The PoS is actually going to have to go back to throwing the football since they will likely be behind for once!

I am a TB fan and a bigger Dungy fan. I will be rooting for Dungy/Colts.

I feel Dungy got a raw deal in Tampa and if he stayed TB would have 2-3 championship rings.

The only way one GETS the TD record is by throwing on 4th down with a good lead. Manning did it, and now Brady is trying to do it.

I could be wrong, but Manning/Dungy don't strike me as the type to FAKE SPIKE and take a shot in the endzone on 3rd down, up 30+ pts with less than 2 min. to go in the 1st half. Also, did Manning REALLY throw on 4th down up by 2+ touchdowns? I know he threw it in from the .5 yardline and other obvious rushing downs, but I don't recall them throwing on 4th down near mid-field like the Pats are doing this year. Again, I could be wrong, it's a distinct possibility.

I remember Manning throwing in some situations that were screaming RUN like 1st and goal at the 2.. But not everyone being up in arms because he was throwing on 4th down.

Pats are one of the most hated teams in sports right now. I can't imagine this poll not being a landslide. I would love nothing more than to see Manning own the the Pats yet again.

In 2004 they went over 40 points five times and over 50 once. I have no idea whether they pulled the fake spike trick or not, but they were most definitely throwing... a lot.EDIT: They actually went over 40 points six times including the playoffs.

I have no love for either team.

Manning bugs the Hell out of me that he can't simply walk up behind the center and say "Hike!". He has to give a friggin' soliloquy at the line of scrimmage every play. Having said that, the Patriots throwing on 4th down when they are up big in the 4th quarter has given me a team to root for next week.

Go Colts!

New England wins by two touchdowns. Maybe more if Harrison is limited.

But I also think the value put on this game is way way over rated.

I would like to see the cheaters lose.........unfortunatly they continue to reap an ill gotton advantage, instead of being penilized for their faulty interpertation of the rules.

Quickly? Is this thread four years old?

:unsure:Brady's done the impossible and made Peyton Manning seem humble and reserved in comparison.

I have to disagree, and I think it is actually being understated. This is the only game that the Patriots have a chance of losing this year. If they dispose of the Colts, it's a tango into a magical, undefeated, Superbowl season.

Judging by the way the Patriots have played this year, rubbing other teams noses in it, they understand that they have a chance to make some history this year. If they go 15-1 during the regular season, they become "just another very good team that won the Superbowl" like the 85 Bears. An undefeated season makes them the greatest team in football history.

The value of this game cannot be undersold.

Brady seems like a classy hardworking guy. Manning is amazing, probably one of the best students of the game I will see in my lifetime. I really like Tony Dungy, reminds me of Joe Gibbs in his heyday. Bellichick looks like a very angry man, whenever I see him in press conferences I could see him screaming at a waitress or something because his soup is cold.

I vote Colts.

I may be the only one to think so but I believe the Colts can win this game. The Colts are the closest team to the Cowboys in balance and talent and I don't see them making all of the mistakes the Boys did in that last game.

I gotta say that as much as I hate the Pats (and this is well documented to anyone who reads these posts) there would be something quite nice in shutting up those arrogant ex-Dolphins with their ridiculous champagne toast. I've always hated that they actually celebrate when other people lose; classless! I guess there's a silver lining in everything...
