:excited: there were 4 picks made Monday :D

I've PM'd RJ to let him know we still need a pick, and that he can PM me his 3rd rounder to help push this along

I have JT's 2 selections @2.16/3.1, so if David and RJ shoot me their 3rd's, we can make some hay here early

as an aside....I generally check in prior to going to work, which is 1:30AM eastern, then check back in and am on in the early morning hrs 6-9AM

feel free to shoot me a PM if you're up w/in 3 or 4 selections prior to hitting the rack at night---we made all of 4 selections yesterday, a number I could very well post before/after work w/just a couple PM's from folks

that said, the wife and I are hitting AC,NJ this weekend, from Thurs-Su...I'll shoot blackberry addy & cell phone to rzr so he can reach me in the event I'm up and haven't PM'd while I'm out of town

Rodeojones and others PMed me that it's my pick. But there still is no pick listed for Rodeojones. I can pick if we decide that's best, but I'm not sure why he has no pick listed.

 
Rodejones sent me a PM that since the sign up for the PDSLs he has started training that involves a ten to twelve hour training period each day. Since he had sent me the PM, he knew that he had timed out and was apologetic. I replied and encouraged him to send lists each day prior to leaving, but still no pick was made. I much prefer that he stay involved and send others lists to make picks as needed, but will send BassNBrew a PM to see if there is anybody still on the list that did not get assigned to PDSL 4.

Please give me till 10:00 CDT to make these decisions. Rodeojones please reply and let me know your preference. I will also look to see if there were folks left off the league altogether.

Back shortly. Since David did not pick yet, please hold off picking till either you see the pick made or 10:00 CDT which ever comes first.

Having danced this dance before, I have found that it is best to wait around and get the picks made in order or else bad things will happen. For example, Rodeo would be in danger of falling two picks behind and a ton of picks getting made beyond that . . . which could potentially eliminate him from contention one day into the draft. IMO, we are not at the point where we are so pressed for time that we should fly by and stick it to Rodeo.However, if it gets to the point where this is a perpetual issue with him, we may want to make alternate plans in terms of getting another owner.

rzr, I did notice that someone signed up in the orignal signup thread yesterday, so he might be an option for you all.

Thanks for the reply David. Rodeojones offered to step out due to his expected ten to twelve hours per day without internet access during his training, but my reply urged him to stay and send lists to other participants so that he could stay involved. I know that he was looking forward to the league. But, no pick was made.I have sent him an email and a PM that he has until 10:00 CDT to make picks and decide whether to stay. I also noticed that teamramrod signed up late for the PDSLs and did not make a league, so I sent him a PM to inform him of what may be needed. I do not have email info on teamramrod, so if others know him, please contact him ASAP.Sorry again for the additional two hour delay!

I'm a little confused too. I was looking at this thread last night when RJ checked in. He initially picked S Smith - hence my post 54 (too late went at 2:07). He added another post changing his pick to Chad Johnson but that post has disappeared. Don't know if that helps or confuses matters more.

That was my perspective from the PM that I received that he was sorry he had held up the draft. I assumed with that PM that he had made a pick. And I guess he did and then withdrew it. I still haven't heard from either him or teamramrod, so we are still in delay for just over one more hour at least.Thanks to ravnzfan for his email to teamramrod.
 
Still no word from either Rodeojones or teamramrod. Sent PMs to several active posters including PAE as suggested above.

Whoever responds first by posting here with a second round pick is the new member (or old if RJ). If RJ makes a pick he will now be on a 4-hour clock.

If someone else makes a pick, they will still have the eight hour clock. Hoping that we have a pick in minutes and get back on track!

Razor, think we should change the title and add third round tracking to the first page? We seem to have gotten ambitious in this thread.

 
I would help you maintain the draft thread if I had the ability to edit it.

I can't do the draft thread by myself though. Maybe someone else will.

I'll maintain the teams/discussion thread.

 
How about anybody interested in tracking the picks in the lead thread volunteer prior to the start of the fifth round. I will pick it back up at the start of the ninth round.

Whoever volunteers, just go start the next one about five picks ahead of its need.
