7.11 KEVIN CURTIS, WRon pda again...can someone pm for me... thx
Good pick.I was considering him, but after reviewing the Eagles WR2 numbers from last year I wasn't that impressed.I think he can nail a few TDs and help you some weeks, but Philly WR inconsistencies are troubling (they spread the ball to whomever is open on a given week).
How many times have they had a #2 like Curtis?

Not much of an endorsement for the "good pick" comment.

That's what I was thinking... :D I do think that Curtis is a heck of a lot better than what Philly has had as a #2 in the past. I'm not sure you can really even count Stallworth/Brown given how often Streetclothes was hurt. In my mind, Brown/Curtis act more like a 1a/1b this year, and Curtis turns out to be a pretty solid #3 WR in this format.

8.3 J. P. Losman QB Bills

will PM bostonfred and now I must sign off and work on taxes

I don't even like Deshaun Foster, but I can't believe he's still on the board. I'm honestly surprised TL didn't take him to pair him with DeAngelo.

I went back and forth between him and Droughns but went with Droughns because I have Delhomme.

I considered him last round and was kind of hoping someone would take him. This is the first year I've felt he represented any kind of value. In any event, he's my RB3 behind Henry and McGahee, so I'm mostly looking for bye week filler.

Who do u guys like out of foster droughns washington? Was havin tough time between those 3 on my last pick.

I would prefer Foster since I think he has the best chance to start and produce. Washington would be my 2nd choice of the 3.

Well, that would have been a SAFE play, but looking at the draft and the available players left, I would be throwing darts for bye week coverage. I also didn't think there would be a legit RB3 on the board by the time it came back to me, so my hand was forced. I think Morency will have a great chance to contribute on a weekly basis. Let's just hope the bye weeks work out.

Because I have Kevin Jones as my RB#2 I wanted a guy that would play all 16 games which is why I went with Droughns...I believe his production will be steady but not very high...a very conservative play on my part that I may kick myself for if Jones is ready by week 1.As a risk managment guy, I couldn't allow myself to have Maroney/Jones/Foster as my RB core...I needed to solidify the position. On the other hand if I did have two solid RBs Foster was the choice with no questions asked.

Are you sure that Kevin Jones is even coming back this year? Or that he'll be any good if he does?

With Turner as my #2 RB, who may not start at all, I understand how you feel. As a Panther homer, however, I don't know that Foster is the guy to get you 16 games. Bass, as another Panther homer may have a different opinion though.

No.
But, he was more than acceptable risk where you got him. If he plays more than half the season at 80% or better, you got a steal of a deal.

As a note, since I'm not sure who is picking right now, I PMed Bass, MOP, and PAE. If it is someone else, then please PM them if you are not the someone else ;)

I hope everyone had a great Easter . . . we just got back in.8.15 Jason Campbell, QB, WAS
A little surprised that Campbell went this late as QB 26. Can you tell me where you rank him? Thanks. Twelve of the last nineteen selected were QBs, including five in a row. Now that's a run. Is it over?

I ***REALLY*** did not want to take another QB here but there were SO MANY that went in the last however many picks that I felt I had to.As for a ranking for Campbell, I'm guessing somewhere in the low to mid 20s. I like him a little better than a handful of guys that went in that barrage of picks but not many. He did ok at the end of the year last year and may have a few decent games in this format. With the remaining QBs, IMO there are not many (any?) left that don't carry a fair amount of risk. IIRC, there are the rookies and 5 or 6 teams that may not have a clear starting QB right now.Based on that, I almost HAD to take Campbell.

Even though you didn't ask me...Campbell is a solid Top 24 QB this year IMHO in redraft, and certainly at that level or higher in Survivor. Given the big play capabilities of his WRs and backs (and Cooley) I can see several good scores in this format. Counting on him week in and week out might be an issue, but I like him a lot in this format and had him a few QBs higher than where he was just taken.I like all or nothing QBs in this format as a duo, as they can combine together to be > a Peyton Manning potentially - hence I have Sexy Rexy.
