Read an article this morning in the KC Star regarding a clinical trial at Children's Mercy Hospital.

Anyway, some really promising results for those kids and parents out there who are living with this right now.

 
Pretty sure I mentioned this in the Melvin thread but my oldest has a peanut allergy - not airborne but it was serious enough to make him extremely sick quickly, rash and vomiting withing seconds/minutes - and at this point maybe worse as they've said it can get progressively worse.  He's 17 now and hasn't been exposed to any for almost 13 years now.  I'm 100% confident that even if he could eat peanut butter tomorrow he wouldn't.

how has he avoided peanuts in the wild for 13 years??
