Anyway, some really promising results for those kids and parents out there who are living with this right now.

Pretty sure I mentioned this in the Melvin thread but my oldest has a peanut allergy - not airborne but it was serious enough to make him extremely sick quickly, rash and vomiting withing seconds/minutes - and at this point maybe worse as they've said it can get progressively worse.  He's 17 now and hasn't been exposed to any for almost 13 years now.  I'm 100% confident that even if he could eat peanut butter tomorrow he wouldn't.

The article said most of the participants in the study were 4-17 but some were as old as 55.

I've mentioned this before, but studies have shown that early exposure is a key to not getting these type of allergies. Israel has one of the lowest rates while having peanut puffs aimed at the toddler market as their leading snack food.
