I'm exploring this. Someone suggested Amazon Prime but it looks like they are only to limited locations (major US cities). My local search came up with Peapod as the best (and only, it seems) option.
I'm a pretty consistent guy in terms of what I buy at the grocery store...I go once a week and usually grab mostly the same items to restock for the week. So, seems like just initially taking some time to put in my list of stuff, and then more or less just saying "reorder" with a couple of edits or additions each week makes sense here.
I see there's a $7 delivery fee on top of my food bill. Are the actual food costs generally the same as in the store, or are they cheaper/more expensive? Is there a delivery time window that you need to be around for or can they come after 5pm after workday hours? Any other advantages of this other than the obvious of not needing to spend time in a grocery store? Any disadvantages besides the delivery surcharge?
