Watching the Lion/Bear game the Lions were losing 24-7 in the third. Grossman goes back to pass, Boss Bailey picks it off and returns it for a TD to make it 24-14. Hold on..a flag on the other side of the field..totally away from the play. Contact to the face..the DB brushed the WRs facemask while they were battling for position. Nothing to do with the original play on the opposite side of the field.
TD called back, Bears drive for a TD to make it 31-7..a 14 point swing.
I am not saying the Lions were going to win the game, but this was a huge swing in the Bears favor for a hand to the face that did not disrupt the WR at all.
The crime did not fit the punishment!
