Nothing ground breaking here, just posting some irritating nonsense that occurred today. I'm at a training class this week with about 15 others. I don't know any of them.

Guy one: every ten minutes, his phone whistles, indicating he has an email or text.

Guy two: spends a half hour after lunch chewing ice cubes.

Both of these are occurring while the instructor is "lecturing" for lack of a better term.

The part that irritated me most was, when the class went on a tour to see the techs that work for the company. Hardly exciting I know, but many of us have received support from these people and it was nice to put faces with names. In any case, at one point we are in the development area and they are telling us about what they are working on for the future software release (again, not overly exciting) but I can't hear a thing because 3-4 people are behind me talking about traffic of all things. WTF is wrong with people? It seems more and more there is no such thing as common courtesy.

Dude got on the subway today... I'm leaning against the door, I'm the next stop, he puts his bag down next to my feet and stands abou 10 inches from my face. Train wasn't overly crowded. I started sneezing, no reaction, I had snot that I just let fall from my nose, no reaction... I let out one more huge sneeze, made sure it was moist, only covered half my mouth, and exited the train.

Lesson:

Some people really are just oblivious.

Caught in a mild backup on the way home the other day. After creeping up to the light I see the problem. A disabled car in the left turn lane. Not sure why this backed up all the lanes, but ok... the car directly behind the broke down car is beeping at it. Hey genius, there is no one in the car anymore. I don't think that's going to have the effect you are looking for.
