People who add nothing but noise to the national discourse... (1 Viewer)

So basically all politicians at the state/national level as well as the associated media machine.

Hillary, Newt, Palin, Rudy, Wolf, Maher, et al...

Just. Go. Away.
Disagree about Maher.  He promotes conversations with the right (last show had Breitbart News Network editor in chief Alex Marlow as a guest interview) and frequently criticizes the left. In fact he flat out calls the Democrats ####### for not putting up more of a fight.  You may not like his politics or his humor, but he calls out both sides and tries to have legitimate conversations.

Oh, and you left off Sean Hannity and Alex Jones.

Lawrence O`Donnell is another doosh.

If this is a 'most awful person' question on the right I'll select Steve King of Iowa and on the left I'll take Alan Grayson (though I think he's out of office now).

I think it'd probably be easier to list those that provide productive perspectives towards national discourse.  Wouldn't be a long list.

Yo - people that hate political threads in this forum, it's not the regulars in the 2 Trump threads that do this.  It's the other people.

Disagree about Maher. He pushes off from people, issues and thinks he's a contrarian. Worse, it's been a long time since he was funny, which was the original cause of his fame. He's as rote as any spokesman now.

Agree, he's washed. I was hoping his use of the n word and then his smug response to it was going to end the show. It should have.

He has his opinions on each issue and they just happen to more often line up with the democrats, but often put him at odds with them (IE: Islam).  To me that alone puts him in a different place than most of the people that belong in this thread who have their party and line up their stance on issues to match their party, which unfortunately includes most politicians and most voters at this point.
