I find it interesting that the 'point' is from hillaryclinton.com referencing an article from TheDailyBeast who is owned by IAC, where Vice Chair of the Clinton Foundation, Chelsea Clinton, serves on the board of directors and is the same media that was accused of being extrmley Pro Clinton and anti Bernie in their reporting during the primaries.

While the counterpoint is a relatively unbiased summation of the origin of the meme.

I personally had no idea about the pepe-trump connection until this thread, but was very familiar with pepe as a meme. That said, to label pepe as 'racist' seems laughable.
