So who benefits....E. Brown, C. Johnson, Both?, someone else?
To me, it's not a done deal that he is gone from the team. The Panthers may still contact him. They would be foolish not to, in my opinion. As for IDP impact, Everette Brown's value would increase a good bit. I still think Brayton will be on the team next season, although he hasn't received a new contract yet. Charles Johnson has developed really well and I think he could be a very attractive sleeper in IDP leagues.
