I've been very encouraged by the increase in targets the last two games and the increased production in Week 3 but he sits for me. With no other WR on the team to be remotely concerned about, I expect the Jets to put Revis on him and Harvin isn't good enough yet in my opinion to overcome that.
Rex Ryan said yesterday Revis will play. We obviously have to see what happens in practice but all the signs are pointing toward Revis returning for Week 5.
And even if he does come back, will he be the same with a sore hammy?
I agree, Harvin is not a clear cut #1 WR at this point. But with defenses haveing to worry about Peterson and the Vikes moving Harvin all around the field pre-snap, I think he can have some success against a not so healthy Revis. In fact, perhaps Revis will be more concerned with Favre's favorite target, Shiancoe and pay less attention to Harvin.

I think they'd put Revis on him because they'd want to take away the one player who can hurt them in terms of big plays and that's Harvin. I don't think the Vikings have shown enough in the passing game thus far for the Jets to try anything exotic. Put Revis on Harvin. Put Cromartie on Berrian and use safeties and linebackers to deal with Shiancoe. The Vikings haven't shown anything yet in the passing game that makes me think they can beat that approach. Even if Revis sits or is limited the Vikings' passing game might still not have an advantage. It's been pretty poor so far.

I agree. And while it sounds great for him to say he feels better...didn't he also say they had the migraines fixed and the next week or so he had another?
I'd say they were right about the migraines. They found the root cause of them. Last year Harvin had a migraine and missed a week or two. His latest migraine kept him out of a half day of practice. He got a good night of sleep and was fine the next day. That's pretty telling that the sleep apnea was at least a major part of the problem if not the whole thing.
He said that he was very pleased because it had been such a long time since he had his last migraine. He said he doesn't expect to never get a headache again, but at least now they're not nearly as often.I've got Harvin in two leagues and am going to have to see how this week goes. In one I may bench him for Lloyd. In the other I may bench him for Floyd or Clayton...
