Perry, Housh, Ocho (1 Viewer)

I'd think Perry see's more quick passes (assuming the line gives time) and Housh, running the short routes is probably not affected much. Chad's long routes get downgraded further.

I think TJ housh gets downgraded the least, as he is more of a possession/safety valve guy while Ocho Cinco is more of a home run threat.

I think Ocho Stinko gets an upgrade as Palmer has clearly locked onto Housh....maybe Fitz will look to make 85 happy and get him the damn ball :wall:

Housh shouldn't be downgraded at all. He can work over the middle for the safe, easy work. I don't see Fitz taking too many 80 yd shots down the field for Ocho.

Seing as I was already starting Perry, I only feel stronger about his chances today.
What about in a scoring only league? This makes me think maybe the Bengals don't get close to the endzone as often and Perry scores less? But that's on the premise of Fitz being a downgrade. DAMMIT WEIGH IN!!!

I'm thinking Fitz lights it up today. 250 2tds or better.
I hope he can do anything today, personally. I am not a Palmer owner but my QB's have been awful, so I am plugging him in as a last second start and honestly hoping to get anything out of him. Undoubtedly, I will look like a buffoon this week but it is worth a shot.

Fitz looked good in preseason, strong arm, mobile. I just dropped extra WR and I am starting Fitz against Cleveland over Griese and Schaub.

:lmao: They'll ask Fitz to manage the game and limit any mistakes, which means fewer downfield shots and more check-downs.Perry will be gold in PPR - I can easily see him getting 6-8 catches on top of his 20 carries.

:wall: Watson INACTIVE today as well ... time for Perry to really step up big.
I asked this in another thread but maybe it belongs in here.Does Perry get the start over Larry Johnson in a ppr league?

So how does the QB change affect Perry's numbers today?

I think that with the change to Fitzpatrick you might see the Browns try to make the Benglals beat them through the air. Which they can do.

Downgrade Perry, upgrade Housh! and CJ.

Same situation for me. I had Perry slated to start even before the Palmer news. Mixed blessing b/c he will get a lot of dump off passes but will be facing 8 men in the box.

you guys talk about Perry like he's some stud running back. The browns aren't gonna change their game plan based on him.

THe Browns are going out there today to play offense and put up as many TD's as they can. This could be a shootout if DA pulls his head out. If not, i see the bengals playing like they usually do. I wouldn't get too excited over this game, but maybe a 24-21 score.

Perry should see his 70yds and a possible TD.

I'm rolling with both Perry and Housh in the same league. That cleveland d is just that bad in my eyes that these guys do well...

i have perry but choosing between lee evans vs. stl and santana moss vs dal. i'm going with perry because he'll get his touches (20-25) and a chance to get some good receiving yards. i'm just worried about the TD opportunities. what is the scouting report on fitz. is this a downgrade for the cincy offense or is he someone who can step in a perform?

He should be licking his lips and foaming at the mouth at a chance to light it up for the team and everyone watching

If he's not - then he shouldn't be in the NFL

Call me crazy, but this chance makes me want to start Ocho MORE.

Palmer's barely looks his way this season.

No way a young player wil be able to resist Chad's charm.

Today's his breakout.

I wont/wouldnt switch Perry, either way.

If you had him in or out before Palmer and Watson were announced, just leave it.

The WR situation seems way more volatile.
