Peterson owners in re-draft leagues (1 Viewer)

This is only for guys with own AP in re-draft leagues. With the season in it's stretch and AP sidelined anywhere from 2-5 weeks, are you considering trading him? He may come back, but his workload may be limited. The Vikings also aren't playing for anything so they may decide to not put AP out there again. What are you plans? I think some people may be willing to take a risk in trading for the guy, but who really knows if he will come back again this year.

I own him and I'd be willing to trade him just because I'm on the bubble (5-5) but in 5th place. Top 2 teams are way out in front then there's 6 teams battling for the final 4 spots with 2 games of each other.

I'd look at the 4 options, 1) If I trade him to another team on the bubble I hurt his chances to make the playoffs but increase his chances to win the championship if they make it (assuming ADP returns to form)

2) I trade to one of the 2 top teams and hope that he doesn't return to form.

3) I keep him, hoping that I make the playoffs and he returns to form.

4) I trade to one of the 4 teams out the race and give them a good chance to win the toilet bowl, doesn't hurt you too bad if ADP returns to form.

We don't know how long he's actually out for and how he'll be used, but he's shown that he can produce when his touches are limited. I dont' buy the whole, let him sit out the year, the season is over because of two reasons, if that was the case, why are players like S. Jackson, and T. Holt and Bulger still playing (they all have some form of nagging injury)? 2) There season isn't over. There is still 7 games remaining in the season and they are only 3 games out of a playoff berth, and the competition for the 2 NFC wildcards isn't exactly stiff.

That being said, I think ADP does come back and does play again this year, and depending on how they do in the games he misses they a) revert back to a 60-40 split between ADP and Taylor or b) return to ADP being the workhorse. (To those that think they won't because of the incentives I think ADP would figure it out that that's what they're doing and he might hold it against them when it comes to resign him, a major risk for your franchise player)

Ultimately, I would consider trading him but my asking price will still probably be too high (personally I'd be looking for a WR1).

I'm reasonably sure of qualifying for the playoffs as is. Don't see that anyone is going to offer enough value for him to make it worthwhile to trade, so I'll hold onto him and hope he can be ready for Weeks 15 & 16.

I'm holding on to him. Trading deadline just passed. I've already clinched my division last week and have a first round bye. So, as long as he's back by week 15, I'm good. I did try to trade for Chester, but his owner wanted Reggie Bush for him.

Given the right offer, I'd trade him. I think most people will want him for cheap though. Assuming he misses two or three games, I still value him highly with the playoffs quickly approaching. Just a personal thing, but most of the teams in my league are afraid to trade. Not sure why.

Exactly. His value just dropped like a rock. The usual idea is buy low and sell high, so if anything he would be a buy. I'd be sniffing around to see who is panicking in a redraft (although I think it's no guarantee he sees the field in time to help fantasy owners)I can see trading hime if it's do or die for you to make the playoffs or you can find someone who still values him as a top 10 RB. Most owners need to be crossing fingers and toes that the more optimistic reports are true.

I started trade talks in my league last week. Had an offer on the table of R. Moss and Mcgahee. Since Moss was on bye I told the owner we would make the trade in week 11. Moss owner is gratefuel to the gridiron gods for my reluctance to part with ADP in a timely manner. Now I doubt I could get Travis Henry for him. Heavy sigh...

In one leauge I am not (have depth and have 1st place locked up_

In the other leauge where I play double headers and I am 2 games out of playoff spot I will take offers. Wiliing to deal ADP and Taylor for Mcgahee type back (was offerd him last week sigh, with Eil)
