People can bash AP for his stats this game, but they should do their homework. The Vikings O-line is decimated right now, TJax is starting at QB leading a non-existent passing threat, and they played a stout NYG run defense tonight. He had no room to run tonight and the Giants D manhandled the Vikes patchwork O-line.

I remember his other lay down very well. He got smoked by the other Adrian Peterson head to head. He's a pretty soft player for such an imposing physical specimen. I'm done with him after this season. I've had him as my keeper since he was a rookie and he's really laid some turds down during the money weeks.
I'm not agreeing with Sabretooth that Peterson is soft, but MJD has come close to killing it for weeks 14/15/16 since 2006. That guy has been a pretty solid fantasy playoff back for 4 seasons so far. Way off the topic of Peterson, but overlooked in the discussion of great playoff backs.
Adrian Peterson ran for just 26 yards on 14 carries in the Vikings' Week 14 loss to the Giants.
Peterson's carry total tied for his season-low during a game in which he didn't leave injured, and the 26 rushing yards were A.P.'s fewest since Week 13 of 2009. Horrific quarterback play didn't help, but also being without LG Steve Hutchinson made matters worse, as rookie fill-in Chris DeGeare was dominated by the Giants' up-front rotation. Though the signs are somewhat ominous for A.P., you can't sit him in the fantasy playoffs next week against a Bears team he's consistently owned throughout his career
Aaron Rodgers, Adrian Peterson, Peyton Hillis, Jamaal Charles, Greg Jennings, Dwayne Bowe, Calvin Johnson. Im sure Im missing some guys but alot of studs disappointed their owners. Wow.
