Peyton Manning (1 Viewer)

If you think about it, he's only had 1 bad quarter(more like 1 bad 8 min stretch really) against the Falcons. Seeing that he was out of football for a year, it's pretty impressive he's doing what he's doing. All that arm strength talk seems like a bit of an overreaction, if arm strength was that big of a deal than Jamarcus Russell would still be in the league haha. Remaining schedule looks pretty nice too if yo ask me.

What do you guys think?

Yep, he should be a beast the rest of the year. SD's D is tough, and Baltimore won't be fun, but there are a lot of match-ups there to get excited about.

Peyton is not quite Peyton but he is still very good. The Raiders secondary is awful. You cannot give him a lot of credit for picking apart that secondary yesterday.

If I had to illustrate it, I'd say he is not the Manning we remember but he is still good enough to take what is there. So, he may not be able to impose his will on every team, like he used to, but when the matchup dictates, he can still get it done.

I guess the caveat in that statement is trying to figure out if he simply isn't the same player (some of his throws just don't look like what I remember seeing) OR is this simply just a case where he and his new team are still syncing (maybe a month from now the timing is there and they are shredding people).

What QB wouldn't stumble a little going to a new team and attempting to get that entire team to adjust to a very complicated system? Add in the 2 years off and rehab, and it's hard not to be impressed. Manning, and the Broncos, have improved every week. With the course he's on, it's hard not to be excited to see what he'll do with that remaining schedule. Those that drafted him at his ADP are certainly happy they did.
