YesGreshem will be the next Finley.
TO has looked pretty good. Made a nice over the shoulder catch deep down the sidelines last series.Game is blacked out here. How does everyone look?Specifically want to know about TO...
He's looked much better on this drive..I've come around a lot on Benson. He's looked really good this preseason.Kolb just threw a beautiful pass on the run to Jackson.
1. I don't think Kolb looks bad. It seems to me he takes off out of the pocket pretty quick and likes to throw on the run though. I'd like to see him settle down in there a little bit and then move on the run only if he has to, not do it as much. He does have a strong arm and he's able to sling it pretty good when he does move on the run to his right.2. TO should be no surprise. 2 years ago with Dallas he was still considered a top notch receiver in the NFL. He goes to Buffalo, one of the worst passing teams in the NFL and does OK. To write him off as done is a big mistake and although Cinci is a run team first and they have 85, TO will get his, he's just too good and always has been.3. I think Carson Palmer has impressed me. He looks like he's getting some time from the offensive line to throw and he's stepping up into his passes but he's definately getting something on his ball. He's pretty accurate tonight, it's only 1 week but I have to say I like what I'm seeing from Palmer tonight.I also like my super sleeper pick in running back B. Scott. If he stays healthy, he'll vulture a few Td's away from Benson and if Benson happens to break down in the latter part of the year, don't hesitate to start Scott, he'll put up some numbers. If you get Benson in a draft, don't forget about the cheap handcuff in Scott late in your drafts.1. Kolb doesnt look good.2. TO does.3. So does the Cincy Defense.Your thoughts?
He looks like value to me. At least if you were basing it on this game alone.Game is blacked out here. How does everyone look?Specifically want to know about TO...
They're going to miss Westy, too.Color me skeptical re: Kolb. I think he could be a FF bust. Eagles red zone offense is awful. On the other hand, Palmer might be a really good sleeper pick based on his ADP. I think Eagles fans will miss McNabb.
Could be the next Scott MitchellColor me skeptical re: Kolb. I think he could be a FF bust. Eagles red zone offense is awful. On the other hand, Palmer might be a really good sleeper pick based on his ADP. I think Eagles fans will miss McNabb.
I get your point but Scott Mitchell could NEVER throw the ball on the run. Watching that guy run and then attempt to throw a pass while running still gives me nightmares. I wake up in a cold sweat yelling "NO, DON'T THROW IT!" still to this day. Scott Mitchell, wow what a bum.Could be the next Scott MitchellColor me skeptical re: Kolb. I think he could be a FF bust. Joe Flacco already owns that moniker.Could be the next Scott MitchellColor me skeptical re: Kolb. I think he could be a FF bust. Eagles red zone offense is awful. On the other hand, Palmer might be a really good sleeper pick based on his ADP. I think Eagles fans will miss McNabb.
First half thoughts areI think Kolb has looked better as the game has progressed. Good mobility and throws well out of the pocket... reminiscent of Romo in that regard.Gresham is one big, athletic dude. Finley comparison was accurate.
He's always good but you know, I like what I've seen out of D. Jackson. Kolb definately looks for him, Kolb has a strong arm and Jackson is flat out explosive. Even if Kolb doesn't play well this year or up to Eagle standards, I think Jackson still gets his and has some big days. I think he gets his targets, I think he'll make big plays and I don't think Philly will be able to run the ball to keep it out of Kolb's hands which will eventually end up in Jackson's hands.Akers had been the best Eagles preseason player so far.
Nope. They haven't said a word.Any update on Maclin?
VICKS! Not Bucks.... Dang iPhone...INT for Buck's first throw
Nope. They haven't said a word.Any update on Maclin?
Jeremy Maclin left Friday night's preseason game with a "left shoulder contusion."That's what the team is calling it, at least. He will not return. Maclin took a big shot from Bengals CB Johnathan Joseph, causing the 2009 first-round pick to fumble the ball out of bounds. He was immediately removed and tended to by trainers on the sideline. Maclin was sitting on a cart, though it's unclear if he was carted to the locker room. He did not appear to be in significant pain, which presumably is a good sign.
Based on this game alone, I agree. Vick certainly hasn't looked good throwing... but again, is that Vick or Cincy Defense? In all honesty the eagles should let vick be the primary running back, he would be so much more productive than McCoy.
Another INT...VICKS! Not Bucks.... Dang iPhone...INT for Buck's first throw
Looks like TO has grown up quite a bit...TO's letter to whodey nationThe Bengals look very good in the pre season. If they don't let TO blow up the team they could go far.
Dear Bengals Nation,Feb. 6, 2011 is now marked on my calendar with a big orange circle. As I joined the Cincinnati Bengals and continue my career I'm very excited with the opportunity to be in pursuit of the championship.First off, I'm thankful to Mike Brown and the Bengals organization for giving me another opportunity to play football.Second, I'm certain in life nothing is guaranteed - but for us to win the Super Bowl it will take a total team effort.Third, I'm promising you that the focus will be stronger than you've ever seen it. Life isn't always easy but it's the bumps along the way that makes you stronger. With my "me against the world" mentality as a young man, I've learned that life can be more challenging but I've matured. If it wasn't for the support of my grandmother and the love of my family and true friends, I would be lost. My faith, confidence and maturity keeps me strong and focused on more than just T.O.The Bengals are now my extended family and I look forward to learning more about your city, teammates, coaches and you all. This is my home and I'm happy to be in the Midwest. I'm confident in our team's chances of winning the title, so anything less than the playoffs is unacceptable to us. It will definitely take a fight but if my gut is correct, Who Dey Nation will be proud this season. I signed here for a reason. With hard work and unity, this team will restore power and respect. We're focused on playing in Texas on Feb. 6. Just take a look at my calendar, the date is saved. Let's make the Jungle roar this season!Yours truly,Terrell Owens aka T.O. aka "I'm Batman!"
Well, smart enough to have someone else do the talking/writing for him is "growing up a bit", I guess.Looks like TO has grown up quite a bit...TO's letter to whodey nationThe Bengals look very good in the pre season. Both Herremans and Jackson are practicing. Herremans will definitely be there week 1. There's a good chance Jackson will be too.Eagles oline been trying to get healthy for how long now? They never addressed the center position, LG is still a mystery with Herremans foot. I havent seen how Stacy Andrews is playing but with McCoy having to break tackles before the LOS, that doesn't bold well.
...you and they can't be serious about relying on jackson. think they would have learned with playing andrews too soon. Both Herremans and Jackson are practicing. Really? He put up 150yds and basically a TD (that was called back for an illegal formation) against a top defense with an O-line that was getting DOMINATED.I thought that Kolb and DeSean Jackson both looked great. The Philly o-line looked awful. If they get their stuff together, Kolb is going to be huge.1. Kolb doesnt look good.
As an Eagles homer, I really, really, REALLY doubt it. Even in Washington, he's already been taking a ton of heat for his piss poor accuracy. I n Philly, he was ALWAYS underthrowing and overthrowing receivers. He got into funks where he couldn't hit an open man to save his life. Don't get me wrong, when he was on his game, he was good. Great, even. He just wasn't "on his game" that often.I think it's far more likely he gets exposed this year.I think Eagles fans will miss McNabb.
