i think the difference is that Wentz is a top 2-3 QB in the league. if Brady gets hurt there is a big drop-off as well. 

but that isn't really valuing Foles as a starter. he did fairly well today and looked capable. he has 3 weeks to really get some momentum going. Wentz is definitely huge key for this team, but the sky isn't falling yet. I'm just as concerned about our run defense and the defense giving up so many yards and points

These are things a Carson-led offense can overcome.

I know we all think about the one season he had here, but he also had just as much awful time here and elsewhere.  Not sure how he's suddenly 'one of the best backups in the league" when he wasn't even good enough to BE a backup for the Rams.

Jeff Fisher coached Goff, Keenum and Foles' all of which pundits thought were terrible QBs the last couple of years. He leaves and what happens? Guess we'll find out with Nick.
