Fantastic Eagles response to gut their hopes after G-man showed a little heart

would like to see an 8 or 10 play drive on the ground, any kind of score, kill 6 minutes and sit all the starters from there

Dallas is trailing 23-20 in the 4th Q now, imagine they drop a game to Houston this late in the season, all but seals up the East for the Igglz
Big advantage for Philly if they can secure the 1-Seed and a Bye Week to rest everyone.
Looks like the Vikings could drop back a game today, that could help Philly lock up the 1-Seed next week?
Imagine the Igglz with nothing to play for the last 2-3 weeks of the season and can rest almost everyone?
Hint Hint
AJ Brown and Hurts, plus many others could quickly become very marginal starter in coming weeks
Just the facts

oh we know

Giants and Viking both lose Eagles are essentially up 3.5 with only 4 games to play for both the division AND the bye...they can afford to rest anyone in any game and make sure they go into the post season healthy

Dallas prob gonna win now. Houston needed that 4th down.

Doubt we'd rest players for the final TWO weeks, and leagues don't play in week 18.

I'm aware most leagues don't play Wk 18. I've been on these boards for a decade, dude.

They won't necessarily sit, but they might go through the motions if they've already clinched.

By the way, I absolutely understand that it's best for Eagles fans that they clinch early. There's no doubt about that. But as someone who rosters Sanders on my main team and who is really my RB1 (Hall went down, and Elliott has been displaced), I want them trying to win and win going away so they tack on rushing attempts, just like they did today.

Even if they clinch, they aren't 'half assing-it' vs the saints in week 17. That's 3 weeks before a playoff game, and there's a lot of reason to beat the saints. This is zero concern for you.

They might no hafl-*** it, but they also might get certain backups some time. If they clinch the #1 seed I'd expect Sanders to get a bit of a rest.

In week 17? Doesn't happen. Week 18 yes if they have the bye then They might give sanders 2 full weeks off.
