Man, McNair looks solid.Mason=Value this year.
Both = Value.McNair more than Mason considering where he's bering drafted.
:goodposting:
He was about QB 18 in a May draft.
His current combined ADP = QB20, drafted most often sometime in the 10th/11th round orf 12 team drafts.IMO, Very Good Value, or VGV (trademark pending)mason, otoh, is WR20, most often drafted in the 5th round, whic is value, but not VGV.

Not sure who's having a worse 2nd half:

Detmer ( 1-6/ -6/ 1 INT)

or Moats (6 rushes, 8 yds 1 fumble and 2 catches for -1 yard)

Moats fumbled again. Come on Mahe. I just got him off the WW.
Ditto. I had no backup for Westy in a Dynasty and Moats wasn't available when I took the team over. Been looking for some game from Mahe and Buck - both looked ok. Dunno if Buckhalter is worth having. Hell, is Mahe really worth having?Well -- I guess he is for backup purposes......

Did Baskett play?
WR could not get open last night. Seems that everytime McNabb went back to pass he had to dump to LJ or a RB. Reggie Brown had one catch on a swing pass for about 6 and Baskett was targeted a few times with no catches (one was over thrown and one was defended nicely, not sure about the third target).Gaffney looked ok in the second half though and likely cemented a roster spot.

Did Baskett play?
He played, targeted 3 times... no catches...
Were they dropped (If anyone knows), or bad passes or even broken up?Was one of them the ball Culpepper threw away ?Not liking that stat :(
The write-up I saw indicated 2 of them were overthrown balls.
One long one to Baskett he was impeded by Rolle and penalty was called. He could have goten there. NFL Network has game replays.

Great to see C-Buck out there

Not so great to see Moats out there playing that way

McNabb is definitely healthy again and will be proficient...but you're not getting him for any kind of value based on current ADP. McNair on the other hand should easily outperform ADP if healthy.

Mason seems ready to return to his 75 catch, 1100 yard ways now that he's reunited, whereas I'm not as sold on Clayton. Kid needs to get his hammy right.

Eagles WRs are a debacle, but we already knew that by the fact Hank "Undrafted Free Agent" Baskett had been the most consistent of the bunch.

Happy with the Eagles lines, both seem ready for productive seasons. Not happy with the way the secondary gave up chunks to McNair and company; although that's more a byproduct of the LB corps than the defensive backs. Our LBs are going to give up a lot of frustrating plays on crossing routes and quick hitches. UGH.

Other random thoughts...

...Baltimore's punters stink

...Akers looks dominant again

...Reno Mahe was this close to being cut and now seems a mortal lock to make the roster

...Matt Schobel is better than I realized

...Stephen Spach is not

...Jamal Lewis looks GOOD

...Musa Smith is a beast

...Mike Anderson could get traded for the right price

...Todd Heap = VALUE
