Pick #4 (1 Viewer)

In a ppr league what do you do? Assuming the big 3 rb's are gone, do you go with Rogers, Megatron or gamble on CJ?

Seems like the #4 spot this year requires the biggest decision making. Its not the worst spot, thats for sure, but def. requires the most thought.

You could go Rodgers but RB is pretty shallow this year so you'd have to go QB RB RB.

Look for Murray/McFadden in the 2nd, then Sproles in the 3rd. Also watch where Mathews is come the 3rd round, he could be SOLID and is slipping fast with his recent injury.

Highly doubt Murray or McFadden is going to be there at 2.09. I think you go with Rodgers though and agree that you should go RB RB after that. Targetting guys like Sjax, Martin, etc.

I think you first have to look at your scoring system and roster requirements. League tendancies during the draft also very important....what to expect in the 2nd,3rd,etc.... I am not a big believer in SOS when dealing with studs ie DMAC against JETS last year. Lastly.....you may just have to go with your gut and personality....conservative?....risk taker?

That being said I would go Calvin or Cj2k and build from there. Both are not high injury risks...if their is such a thing.....If you have a big "set" and want to take the risk go Dmac but no defined backup you can take like Bush could totally wipe out your year if history repeats. If QB are valued higher in your league go Rodgers. If someone goes Rodgers before you enjoy the fallen fruit

4 will not be looking at Murray or Dmac in the 2nd nor sproles in the 3rd more than likely

You really should change the title of the thread ....... most difficult? it's the first round you are drafting a Stud player - just a question of how you want to approach the draft or drafting the player you like more.

There will be tough decisions later in the draft - don't mistake this as being one of them

I got the 6 pick, and 4 would be easy livin! I have to plan on the 3 RBs, Rodgers and Calvin being gone. Now what???

4 QBs

2 TEs

0 WRs

and about 4 RBs I can pick from.

Who is the best LOCK to put up same or better numbers than last year???

I dont feel the same about CJ, he will be "under consideration" for the next week+, until my draft, but I dont have a whole lotta love for him.

CJ, Forte, the TEs, then MJD is he comes back, DMC are what I have to figure out. 6 players, one pick.

Go RB RB RB, grab Jordy Nelson, then Aaron Hernandez. Doneskis.
so now you have 5 players thru 5 rounds who aren't tops in their position. i think its important to get the best playrs in their position as long as they're avail. for instance, would you rather have the 4th best rb or 1st QB or WR?You strategy give you no advantage at any positions

Everyone has their own strategy and this could be a long debate. I usually go best available.

I can assure you you wont get more than 1 best at any position. You go Rodgers with your #4 pick, Foster obviously is already gone. Calvin, Gronk will be gone before your second.

Be looking for Sproles with your second. Murray if you're lucky. Mathews could slip too.
