Lions vs. Saints. Upset is not out of the realm of possibility but very unlikely

Steelers vs. Broncos. Again, I think the Broncos have a shot. The Steelers have played very close, ugly games on the road to inferior teams this year. But I've got no balls so rolling with the safe choice.

Atlanta vs. Giants. Should be a close game. I think the Giants are going to be a bit overvalued after last night's game - they still have a negative point differential over the season and are so inconsistent.

Bengals vs. Texans - ???? Anyone who knows what's going to happen in this game is a liar. I fully expect something ridiculous to happen like Jeff Garcia taking over after Yates and Leinart get knocked out and lead a game winning touchdown

I really like what Detroit has axcxomplished this season and expect their offense to perform well. I thought that they could beat the Packers yesterday but did not get it done. Their offense will challenge the Saints defense, but the Saints are really hitting on all cylinders and will win at home.

The Steelers defense will win the game at Denver. Concerns are mounting for the Steelers offense going forward with the potential losso of Mendenhall and the continued gimpyness of Roethlisberger. However, their defense will again shut down the Broncos limited offense.

The Giants at home hosting the Falcons is a more difficult game for me to call, because the Falcons offense as really come alive lately with Julio Jones coming on strong down the stretch. It has been really exciting to watch two rookie WRs be as dominant as both Jones and Greene have been this season. However, the Giants domination of the Cowboys yesterday was special and the Giants have more potential than they have shown. I think that they will handle the Falcons who although are only 4-4 on the road match the Giants home record also 4-4. But the Giants have won big games there the last two weeks, one counting as a road win over the Jets.

The Bengals visiting Houston is the most difficult game for me to call with the injury yesterday to TJ Yates, the third Houston QB, along with the strength of the Bengals defense. The Bengals defense ranks 9th overall is strong against both the run and the pass. They also have a 5-3 road record on the season. Even rhough their rookie QB, Andy Dalton has played well all season, going on the road and winning over the tough Houston defense is a major challenge.

If the Chiefs can hold the Broncos to a FG, a Clark-less Steeler D should be able to shut the Tebows down as well.

Not much discussion yet, so I ask again on Monday morning for your votes and thoughts regarding the Wild Card Weekend games, now only four days away.

Saints, Giants, Broncos, and Bengals.

My thought on the Broncos-Steelers: It is hard to imagine whom the Broncos would rather be playing here. One thing about the Steelers and their defense: they have been one of the worst in takeaways this year. Actually the worst - just 14 takeaways all year. That's ok if a team has an offense that can pile up points and can afford this. WITH Ben and Mendenhall this team has not been scoring points. With Ben and NO Mendenhall this gets even tougher. The Broncos win when they don't turn the ball over. I think Denver can show up for one game at home, keep it on the ground, not turn it over and hold Pittsburgh to very few points for one game. 10-14 points could win this game.

The Giants will beat Atlanta in NJ and then could very well beat the Pack. They are streaky and right now they are on a good streak.

I hate the Giants but that defense is hot right now. I dont envy anyone going to NY to play the Giants. JPP is an absolute beast and is pretty much unblockable. Cruz has turned into an absolute star. I think they roll the Falcons. 31-20

The Saints were the wrong matchup for the Lions. Matt Flynn torched this secondary, the Saints will do the same even though the Lions make a late 4th quarter drive to keep it close. 27-24

Houston runs the ball better than anyone in the NFL. Yates makes one or two plays. Houston wins a close one. 17-10

Pittsburgh VS Tebow. Laughable. Steelers destroy the broncos. 24-6

I am going out on a limb to say that I wouldnt be shocked to see the Giants upset the Packers. The Giants have the best starting WR in the NFL when all three are healthy. Eli is playing his best football of his career. The defensive line is ridiculous. I think Eli can keep the Giants in the game. Hate to say it, being a Cowboys fan and all..... :yucky:
