Pierre Thomas Auditioning For This Year & Beyond (1 Viewer)

Never thought Bush would find his way to my bench, but right now that's the case. I'm leaning towards starting Thomas on Thursday along with Westbrook, and sitting Bush. It's tough to sit Reggie. For those debating, how much do you factor in Thomas' game last year @ CHI in week 17? 20 carries, 105 yards, 12 catches, 121 yards and a TD. Monster performance -though that was without Bush active.

i'd say he is passing the test. I had him on the bench in 2 leagues. Going to be another tough decision against Chicago. I could see a game plan with a lot of dumps to Reggie thus limiting PT's PT...

 16 pts no good?
not sure what you mean. Both had good days today. I'm just sayin' Reggie can go to the house on any touch - I like that. Pierre is sorta explosive himself though.
Im saying I think Bush still is a better start than Thomas

Pierre Thomas, RB NO

News: Saints RB Pierre Thomas ran for 100 yards for the first time all season, carrying the ball 16 times for 102 yards Week 14 against the Falcons. He also scored two touchdowns -- one on a five-yard run and one on a seven-yard catch. He had only the one reception in the game. "We wanted to make that a point, that we could run the ball on these guys," Thomas said. "(Coach Sean Payton) had faith in us to run the ball hard. We took it to 'em."

Analysis: Thomas had arguably his best game of the season even though Reggie Bush, recently back from a knee injury, had 10 carries for 80 yards and three catches for 26. Thomas doesn't figure to go away since Bush can't function as an every-down back anyway, so consider him a No. 3 Fantasy RB in Week 15 at Chicago. With a better matchup, he'd qualify as a No. 2.
