Pittsburgh at Baltimore (1 Viewer)

Lost in the Ray Rice chatter is that this is the first Ravens/Steelers game since Mike Tomlin tried to get in Jacoby Jones' way on that kickoff return last November. The Ravens have not forgotten, as shown by the shirt Terrell Suggs was wearing this week.

What happened to Rihanna? Someone said singing tonight. Maybe at halftime?
CBS Sports made some late changes to its Thursday Night Football pregame show due to the news surrounding former Ravens running back Ray Rice.

The network cut an opening segment featuring Rihanna singing the Jay Z song ‘Run This Town’ as well as a comedic segment that had been planned. Instead, it opened with James Brown introducing CBS News anchor Scott Pelley who did a quick recap of Thursday’s news relating to the investigation into the NFL’s handling of Rice’s case.

Alex Riethmiller, a spokesman for the NFL Network which partners with CBS for the Thursday night broadcast, told USA TODAY Sports the change to the introduction was part of a number of changes made to Thursday’s broadcast to make room to discuss the Rice situation.

“It’s important to realize we are not overeacting to this story, but it is as big a story as has faced the NFL,” CBS Sports chairman Sean McManus told SI.com, which first reported the changes. “We thought journalistically and from a tone standpoint, we needed to have the appropriate tone and coverage. A lot of the production elements we wanted in the show are being eliminated because of time or tone.”

The opener featuring Rihanna and actor Don Cheadle is expected to return to the broadcast next week.

The CBS audio feed is so much worse on NFLN. Also got to hear them discussing thetopics of conversation right before kick.

INcredibly BAAAAAD call. He hit him really hard bu.......never mind

lookedlike a clean hit real time, but he led with the crown

Awful call. If he doesn't lower his helmet, he hits him helmet to helmet. Awful. You can't delicately try to tackle a QB as big as BR. Awful.

textbook spearing. He wasn't toohigh or low, and how hard was immaterial. It was a spear....defender led with the crown with his head down

Jesus Christ, they threw a flag on the best ####### hit on Ben I've ever seen and now the damn hurdle team is back in action.

Back in the day they used to play tackle football. My Gawd this is an embarrassment to that time.

I am a huge fan of Bell obviously, but my god he looks skinnier and more nimble. I think he finishes this year top 5 in ppr

The way he was coming in and the way Big Ben was, there is no way that guy doesn't get a flag thrown on him. Lame NFl.
