Pittsburgh at Houston (1 Viewer)

Throw for 10, throw for 12, throw for 15, throw for 10. Run, run, 3rd and long...fg
You did forget a run for eleven, though I get what you're saying.

Houston has difficulty with the pass, not so much with the run. They're probably sixth against the rush, according to DVOA.

Game couldn't have started worse for my fantasy team. Just so you all know, I need Bell and Smith-Schuster to each score twenty. Looks bad right now.

Looks like the monster game I need from Bell isn't going to happen today.

I guess second place isn't the end of the world.

Successful year. I've won once in seven years, finished second three times, and know how much luck factors into it. I only won because Lockett broke his leg last year. I only lost this year because I started Chicago over Arizona, Keenum missed a pass to Thielen, etc.

:ptts:

Thanks. That's right, artificial turf is made from rubber, right? Makes sense for the more modern turf they use.
There are these damn black rubber pellets that are in the turf.  Used to play in an adult soccer league that kept playing on turf, quit because it really tears you up when you fall/slide.

Gotcha. That stinks. Adult soccer leagues at least keep you fit a bit. No need to be on turf, really.

Well, that's awesome for me. I want this to turn into a track meet. Alfred Blue!

eta* I just want to be honest that I'm cheering solely for my fantasy team so people don't take offense. This needs to be close and high-scoring for me to compete.

The turf is a ton more durable and easier to maintain than grass. But yeah sliding on the stuff is no bueno.
Yeah, especially when this company really doesn't like to call off games for rain.  We've played some true mud games on grass fields that they don't maintain well.  Unfortunately, I play mostly in the goal so sliding is a way of life.  Even with good keeper pants that #### hurts.

Really ??????

I have Roeth + Bell combo in the FFPC and DFWC trying to move up the ladder for bigger money and I was like good 1 of them will score............

Oh, I know that. I just haven't played on it, nor knew that there were rubber pellets in it these days.
It's been that way for at least 15 years.  Makes it so thereis more give, ie less grab.  I tore my ankle up on the old carpet stuff when I dragged my foot on a crossover step and the turf grabbed it.

Yates having quite the game here.
That the explain for Hopkins? Haven’t seen a snap.

I’m in a coin flip in the 3rd place game. My Bell & JuJu v. his HOU. Down 10.52 at the half. Hmmm now that I look at it again I think 50-50 is wrong I should win this easily.

The Finals are 98% projected winner. #1 seed has Miller. #5 seed (Gurley owner) is up 9.89 at the half & has Ben, DeAndre, Bryant, & Boswell.

Back to slicing honey baked ham...
