as a patriots fan, you really don't have a leg to stand on as far as bandwagon fans go. i know you are only 1 fan, and you are probably loyal. but as a whole, nobody gave a flying #### about the patriots until parcells, billicheck and brady rolled into town. (as evidenced in attendance numbers here: http://www.kenn.com/sports/football/nfl/nf...attendance.html ) so where were all the fans in the 80's? rooting for the red sox.

I'm not afraid to call myself a Steeler fan, and I doubt any others are as well. True, we have nothing to boast about this year other than thrashing the Chiefs but we are still here.

Pitt has been very dissappointing so far, but have been playing much better than their record would indicate. Unfortunately, turning the ball over every game on special teams and even worse, in the opponent's red zone doesn't win you very many games. Its driving me nuts to think that had all 4 red zone TOs been kneel downs and field goals that the game tonight would have been a win. Even more frustrating was last week vs. the Raiders. I have never seen a team dominate another so badly and lose (except maybe in '98 or '99 when the Ravens did the same thing to the Steelers).

Point is, that until they stop making these stupid mistakes, they ARE only as good as their record indicates regardless of how well they play in other facets of the game - tied for the worst record in the league.

Fluke of a run? Im just as tired as anyone repeating this, but we did something that has NEVER BEEN DONE IN THE MODERN ERA OF FOOTBALL. Call it a fluke. I call it one hell of a run. And it makes this season all the more tolerable. The truth is, we Steeler fans keep to ourselves until people like you come into our threads and bring up stupid #### like this.
