I've heard a lot from folks and podcasters complaining about having to draft kickers or defense....or having to drop someone (or their drafted kicker or defense) to pick up a bye-week replacement. Individually they're a pain in the a$$ (sorry Joe 
) and carry less value and more variation than other positional players.
Why don't more sites just combine the two positions into a more "normal" Defense/Special Teams? If you draft the defense, you're also getting that team's kicker....whomever that may be due to injury or whatnot. While I understand the argument of dispensing with the fantasy positions altogether, I am not a fan of that approach since both are important parts of the real game and, in my opinion, should also be a part of our fantasies as well.
