Planted freshwater fish tank (1 Viewer)

Don’t have much set up right now so nothing for sale - I’m a fan of the tissue culture packs that petsmart has, though. A little pack of crypt undulata that I bought back in August has pretty much filled up my whole 5g tank. If you have a specific plant in mind, you can usually find it for sale on ebay or some other plant website - I’ve had pretty good luck buying online.

I've never seen the culture packs I'll ask next time. I was told most the plants they sell there arnt meant to be underwater even thing they're labeled for it. I have a 40g with anubias and jungle Val   Shrimp & betta tank

official thread?

I somewhat miss my tank.  It was really old and got all skuzzed up with Algae really quickly.  Probably needed to find a better location out of the sun and do a little more regular maintenance.

The tissue culture packs should look like this, they're a pretty good deal. The ones they have in the tubes are the ones that can be non-aquatic - even the fully aquatic ones are kind of a ripoff IMO - usually $4 or so for a single plant. A couple good places I've found online are Planted Aquariums Central and Peabody's Paradise - I think Peabody's has discontinued its selection for a little while, though.
