Plaxico Burress: where does he fit in dynaty rankings ? (1 Viewer)

Up.

Next year, Tiki will no longer be around to steal catches. Plus, Toomer is all but done. Other than Shockey, Plax will be the only legit receiving threat on the team next year.

I would agree with this as long as the team has at least a decent WR2 (and a decent O-Line)

i still think you get the roller coaster ride with him. i expect shockey to get more catches with tiki leaving, not plax...

Hasn't really been a roller coaster ride with him this year. He's played in 7 full games this year. In 5 of them, he's got 69 or more yards, and he had a TD in every one of those games. Having 5 good games out of 7 is about as consistent as you can hope for from a WR. His back cost him a game and probably half the game against the Seahawks (if you watched, he couldn't move that day), but there's not really a reason to think it's a chronic problem. He'll probably head into next year with the same kind of value he's got now - in the 11-15 range with potential to break into the top 10. He only turns 30 next year, so he's got a few big years left in him.

offense looks terrible for 2nd week in a row. albeit against great defenses, still horrible. thoughts on plax + his future?

Plax still has a TD tonight, he did reasonably well.I think he'll be fine, he's a very steady producer when healthy. Not many 100 yd games for some reason, but he's consistantly scoring TDs. I'd rank him after the upper tier guys in the 12-15 range. Great #2 fantasy reciever who has upside as a #1.
