Plaxico Says He Will Play (1 Viewer)

Burress said he will have to make up for with film study what he'll lack in physical sharpness and explosiveness. Either way, offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride said he is thankful to have Burress available, even if he's not 100 percent.

"He's such an integral part of what we do. He's a big play guy and he affects the way defenses play against us. It opens up chances elsewhere. Take him out, you're not the same team," Gilbride said. "He's showing great physical toughness and courage and desire to help our team, so I'm just happy for whatever he can give us. He's played great football for us."

:lmao:

This has decoy written allllll over it.

 Burress has been dealing with this injury all season. I wouldn't call 5 TDs a decoy.

Last week he was a game-time decision and they said similar things this week he seems like more of a sure thing he is going to play. Last week he went 90 yards and a TD

Love the production, but this is going to drive me crazy all season. I benched Plax last week because I couldn't take the zero (I would have lost if he didn't play). What makes it tough is that, by playing for the Giants, he gets a few more prime time games (SNF and MNF). It would be a lot easier if the NYG would play in the early game every Sunday so I could make the call to bench/start him at the beginning of the day. I can't wait until SNF to hear whether he'll play or not. It's going to be hard every week as I have reasonable options behind him. I hope he makes it to the bye week healthy and then uses the two weeks off to get to full strength. Here's one time I wish my player had an early bye week.

Or maybe it's a decoy letting us believe he'll be a decoy...

Last week he was a game-time decision and they said similar things this week he seems like more of a sure thing he is going to play. Last week he went 90 yards and a TD
and he dropped 3 easy passes in the 1st half(50-60 yards worth). I believe all his receptions were in the 2nd half.

It took a half last week because he had the pinky and he hadn't practiced all week because of the ankle. He'll be fine once he gets his gameface on, and it shouldn't take a whole half of football this week.

People drop passes. Everyone does.A few drops isn't going to worry me, especially with the stats he's put up.
