Amazing to think how quickly it can all go to ####. He needs to call Tiki.
You can work on protecting the ball, but you can't work on being a great runner with good size/speed. Obviously McCoy will still be the lead back, but Brown has earned more touches for himself even with the fumbles. And that is why Shady is in no danger.
And also, apparently, why you shouldn't carry a loaf of bread like that. And that is why Shady is in no danger.

its one fumble less than last week...hes getting betterFinally talley:- 24 carries- 169 yards- 2 touchdowns- 4 receptions- 14 receiving yards- 1 fumbleTotal combined production: 183 combined yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 fumbleI think Philly should rest Shady for the rest of this year.
evansilva: Andy Reid didn't sound like he's considering benching Bryce Brown for fumbling. Called him a "heckuva young player" & said Brown will learn.

I'll take the under.Calling 3 fumbles.
He doesn't carry the ball like a loaf of bread. He has barely carried the ball in his life against tough competition until now, so he is learning what he has to do to prevent pro DL from punching the ball out. In the meantime he is putting a breathtaking skill set on display. The reason Reid isn't criticizing him for the fumbles is that without BB the Eagles are hapless offensively and hopelessly bad. WITH Brown they are marching up and down the field even with a very challenged rookie QB. McCoy is a top 5 RB talent, no doubt. So is Brown. His size/speed combo makes him one of the top RB's in the NFL immediately. There is nothing flukey about his performance. I'm very sorry about the hurricane for folks like you! I thought Obama had fixed everything with his magical helicopter tour. You have been cheated out of seeing the emergence of a monster RB.'Mentos said:I will have to take your word for it. It is radio only for me. No TV yet due to the hurricane. Last time I saw Brown run was a token carry in October.'ditka311 said:The fact that he carries the ball like a loaf of bread in concerning but I will take it
I believe he moved out of Phase 1. There was a report on CBS Sportline previously that said he moved out of Phase 1 and is in Phase 2. The report also said he is nearly symptom free except for fatigue.Isn't McCoy still stuck in phase one of concussion test? Not sure I'd hang my hat on him returning soon.

As expected, Eagles running back LeSean McCoy was officially ruled inactive for Sunday night's contest against the Cowboys in Week 13 as he continues to recover from a concussion he sustained in Week 11. McCoy was unable to practice throughout the past week as he reportedly remains in Stage 1 of his recovery program. Team trainer Rick Burkholder told reporters earlier in the week that McCoy's concussion symptoms are "down to almost nothing."
The OP's take on this was as right on the money as much as his title/subtitle of the thread was misleading.A great tip with some solid analysis, generating discussion and making the right call on Bryce.Next time, though, maybe use the word "encourages" instead of "warns"?
Sure, but the Eagles may not. While he certainly helped them be competitive in that game last night, one might say he cost them the game. And the game against the Panthers. With those stat lines, ill take a fumble.
but would they have been in any position to win the game if brown hadnt had a dominate night? doubtful, Foles didnt look that good.Sure, but the Eagles may not.
