This is based purely on my own speculation and not based on anything I've heard from those with actual contact with the team.I think Lewis would have ended up a sure-fire starter and a primary target of Leftwich. But with the injury, I think he lost his chance to develop that repoire and be a go-to-guy for Leftwich. I was very high on him before the injury, but my outlook for him for this season has dimmed. I'd love it if he emerges as a significant fantasy TE, but I just don't think he's going to differentiate himself in the receiving rotation this year enough to do it.Just my 2 cents.
