Player or Poser? IS he Really that GOOD? (1 Viewer)

Footballguy
Everyone has been asking, What value does so and so have? We are all asking ourselves that question. Trying to gage who to trade for who, or getting a feel for how strong our team might really be or not. With the Many many many Injuries, the handful of huge busts (LJ, L. Moroney, S. Jackson, MJD, L. Evans, L. Fitz D. Jax) and the eye popping performances( L. Jordan, E. James, R. Brown, R. Moss, Tj Housh, etc. who is a true Player and who is Posing?

Now that we are a quarter of the way into the season and everyone has knows how teams have been performing or not performing, Maybe it would be highly beneficial to everyone to Project or Rank how you think the top players will finish out. If you were drafting today how would you rank your top players in every position,

Here is Mine

Top 11 QB's

1) Romo --- Don't see the play calling letting up or the offensive production

2) Brady --- To many weapons, He is to Good.

Tier 2

3) Palmer --- C. Henry will be back and defense gives up lots of pts.

4) Farve ---- Throwing whenever he wants, and doing everything he can to set more and more records

5) Kitna ----- Martz offense

6) P. Manning --- may loose Harrison for a while

7) E. Manning --- looks on target

Tier 3

8) C. Pennington --- Throwing nearly 2 TDs every game from here on out and loves to throw inside the 5 yd line.

9) D. Anderson --- Edwards and Winslow look HOT and the team will always be playing catch up.

10) Delhome --- Might be a stretch but if he plays he will score Him and Smith all Day!!

11) Brees He has to many options

Top 12 Running Backs HERE IS WHERE IT IS REALLY TRICKY AND I THINK EVERYONES OPINION WOULD BE HELP!!

1) Addai --- High powered Off. with lots of Opportunities

2) Lt -- The match ups get easier and hopefully the Coach gets his head out of his ###

3) M. Barber --- TD's week in and week out

4) LJ --- Easy Easy schedule maybe they can keep stretching the field. Over 25 + carries a game

5) Westbrook -- If healthy, there are very few backs that are any better

6) A. Peterson --- Holy Cow, If his coach would wake up he is a top 5 back

7) R. Brown --- They don't play Jets and Oak every week. They have NE twice and Pit once.

8) F. Gore ---- offense having lots of problems but he is a beast

9) S. Alexander --- He has some great match ups and nobody smells the End zone better then he does.

10) Lynch He has played some of the toughest defenses and continues to put up numbers

11) E. James --- May have to abandon the run but he is the man( goal line carries)

12) W. McGahee --- if only he could score!!

Top 15 WR

1) R. Moss 2tds week in and week out. NO DOUBT 20 TDs

2) Housh he is the man in Cinci

3) TO second behind Moss with 15 TDs

4) Burress He is the go to guy and is a phenomenal athlete.

5) R. Wayne With no Harrison, He will have tons more Production

6) A. Johnson If Healthy, H will be a Animal

7) C. Johnson

8) S. Smith He would be higher if DELHOME was still starting.

9) R. Williams Throw first offense

10) B. Edwards Decent QB time that can show his skills

11) L. Coles yeah I said Coles

12) Boldin Large target

13) Colston He has to turn things around

14) T. Holt Who would have thought Holt would be out of the top 10?

15) Bowe He is going to spread the ball and open some eyes.

If everyone would respond with making some sort of top 10 to 20 list and help comment on each others rankings we would all probably benefit. :construction:

Thanks and hope this helps

I would take this post and your opinion more seriously if not for your lack of grammar/proper sentence constructions.

 Grammar police.
sorry, but if I have trouble reading someone's sentences, I would also have trouble believing in that person's fantasy football intelligence. It's not like there was a mis-spelled word, it was just the overall choice of words and related grammar issues...

Heh. This is fun.

Top 10 QB's

1) Brady

2) Peyton -- Harrison or no Harrison, he is, quite simply, the best.

3) Romo

4) Palmer -- playin behind, nasty weapons.

5) Kitna -- subject to change if his head falls off.

6) Farve -- no RBs push him up a bit.

7) Hasselbeck -- lights out right now.

8) Schaub -- He's playing this well **without** AJ.

7) E. Manning -- subject to change if Plax's head falls off.

8) Brees -- those fools **HAVE** to turn it around, right? :bag:

9) Big Ben -- where o where is my WR2?

10) Vince -- thought about Cutler, and it pains me to admit it, but this guy really is pretty good.

Noticeable Omissions:

D. Anderson - Braylon's numbers are soft

Donovan - unless Westy returns, he's cooked.

Delhomme - if he returns, he could crack my top 10, but I've got a bad feeling.

Top 10 Running Backs

1) Tomlinson - He's the number 7 back in my league and he's playing BADLY.

2) Addai - pure money. I missed on this guy completely.

3) Larry Johnson - I still have the love. Schedule opens up a bit and Bowe/Kennison open the field.

4) A. Peterson - umm. Wow.

5) M. Barber - this guy runs REAL hard.

6) Portis - I'll take 70 and a touch every week, thank you very much.

7) Westbrook - got a bad feeling about this one too.

8) FWP - Run, Forest, Run.

9) Edge - respect to Leinart, but the Cardinals live and die with THIS guy.

10) Ronnie Brown - who's that Jesse Chatman kid who's back there covered in my dust?

10) ( bonus prize ) Lamont Jordan - splits with Rhodes, Fargas, Bush, Culpepper... but this team runs enough to go around.

10) ( ok, i couldn't decide ) S. Alexander - seriously, watch a clip sometime. When he's on, this guy is real, real good.

Noticeable Omissions:

Gore - I think Dilfer actually improves Gore, but don't know if he can catch up. Will be close.

Lynch - If their schedule weren't so brutal, he could crack the 10.

Willis - Baltimore needs an identity, they just seem to be playing without purpose.

Top 10 WR

1) R. Moss - what's not to like?

2) T.O. - he's real big. and fast. after i re-read this it sounded dirty. ;)

3) R. Wayne - Harrison or no Harrison, Peyton is, quite simply, the best.

4) R. Williams - God bless Mike Martz for keeping up with my keeper team.

5) Whosyomama - Mr. Consistency is Carson's boy when he needs 11 yards.

6) 85 - too good to keep down. if the injury is serious then drop both him and Housh.

7) Burress - don't like it, but can't keep him any lower.

8) Steve Smith - Carr figured out how to throw 100 balls to Andre... somehow.

9) Driver - all these fool cheese heads know how to do is throw.

10) Marshall - Henry's gone. Walker's gone. Shanny's gotta let Cutler off leash a little.

Noticeable Omissions:

Coles - Yes, I did NOT say Coles. Kellen's coming, and Cotchery will be his best friend.

Andre Johnson - He'd be on the list for talent, but you gotta play to score.

WRs Zona - what a waste.

Roddy White - just kidding.

ThanksI appreciate you writing a little something beside the players.I also like Marshall, but I could not put him in my list.As for FWP, he should probably be in the top ten. However, he has played very pathetic teams and is currently the 15th back in FF.
