I won't name names for fear of blaspheming the Important Note, but as I look at the bottom of my roster I have questions that I imagine you're facing, too:
1. Do I give up on the gimpy stud who has been underperforming all year in favor of the surging waiver wire player?
2. Do I drop the adequate replacement player now that the starter *might* be returning from injury?
3. Do I pick up a player in a position I don't need just to spite the other owners? Or do I save my waiver wire bucks for other uses?
4. Do I really believe that handcuff RB is going to get his chance? Or is he simply taking up roster space?
5. Do I try to slightly improve my backup QB? Or is the goal to avoid churning my roster?
Obviously league size, roster size, tiebreaker rules, and so forth will have a big impact on these questions, but I'm curious if anyone has developed any best practices around this aspect of the game.
