Playoffs? The Lions? (1 Viewer)

From mocking Rob Ryan
I won't ask you about choking on a 24 point lead at home or Romo's interceptions that keyed the Lions comeback - had to have been painful. From one loyal fan to another (albeit on opposite sides), that had to hurt. But I would like to know how you felt at the time about Rob Ryan stating Megatron was the third best WR in that game (behind Dez and Miles). I love the 'boys wideouts, when healthy they can be as good as it gets. But my question for you is, how did you feel about Rob Ryan trash talking Calvin Johnson? Let's face, Calvin is never going to be an instigator or retorter in that scenario. Let's his play do the talking - and he his play was plenty loud in that win, with two touchdowns. Schwartz knows his superstar is never gonna use the needle. So out of all the things you listed, I gotta say his presser was pretty sweet.

ASIDE - to refresh memories...Week 4 Rob Ryan said CJ was talented, but would be the 3rd best WR if he played for Dallas. Schwartz post game "mocking" (as Bankerguy would style it) was:

“I'm glad the third-best wide receiver on the Cowboys is on our team,” Schwartz said.
I hope the cowboys beat the g-men & Detroit beats Green Bay this week. Would set up a great re-match in the Jerry Dome.
That will work, but I feel like the Lions are playing better than either team. My preference is for the G-men to win so I can attend the game at Met Life. Plus, what's the revenge factor for the Lions? We already beat the Cowboys, and nobody has thought they were going deep at any point this year. They are what they are.The best possible scenario to me is the Rams pull of a miracle and the Saints get the #2 seed. Lions beat the NFC champ, then travel to San Francisco and beat the 49ers. That is a game we should have won (Week 6) - really wasted opportunity there. Then it's back to Lambeau - anything can happen.

Fun to dream...

I read this morning the Lions are locked into the #5, will play DAL/NYG - is that true?

Confusing to me - ATL is one game back, and they won the head-to-head. If we lose, they win, and both finish 10-6, don't they start the tiebreak with H2H?

The Lions aren't locked into the #5 seed right now. If the Lions beat the Packers Sunday, they get the #5 seed. If they lose to the Packers Sunday, they will get the #5 seed only if Atlanta loses too to the Bucs (which is doubtful). The Lions need to win Sunday.

I see your points but I'm just looking for the best thing for the Lions, an indoor game against a team they know they have beaten.Plus i want to see Jerry Jones lose again.
