Please take this survey for my Statistics Course (1 Viewer)

If you point of this exercise is to demonstrate that surveying random internet strangers only yields unusable results, you've come to the right place.  We can definitely help with that.

You guys know this a phishing attempt so he can log your IP address, hack into your computer, and put nude photos of Trump on it, right?

Why are you posting under the Fox Scream alias instead of your Eminence handle?

The survey is complete and the results were nothing short of hilarious. I got an impressive 80 responses. I will post the results with observations later in the day.

Here are a few preliminary takeaways:

1.) Female was the de-factor troll gender. 16 females took the survey and only 3 were non-schtick answers.

2.) You guys are stupid wealthy. The average income is well over $100,000.

3.) Haven't adjusted for schtick but 1/3 of you own your own businesses.

...do any of you really make 7-figures? 1-2 responses that appear to be non-schtick. Great outliers for a statistics project but damn, that's nuts.

Professor feedback, you guys will probably appreciate the bolded:

#### you did a fantastic job on this.

1. For the spreadsheet: Simplify the headings for each column so you have one or two words for each question ie age, gender. Do this for all the column headings. This will help when you run the analysis and generate graphs.

 2. Delete Col A

3. COL C, D, and E have some nonsense numbers and answers. It looks like the same people who responded stupid to C did so in D and E too.  I’d remove those respondents (delete the row).

4. COL G I’m not sure who you distributed this survey to but not very respectful answers…just saying. Not sure what to suggest for this column—it pretty much negates the usefulness of this survey project (bad variable data). Can you keep the respondents with the valid rows and delete the stupid ones?

5. I recommend now copying and pasting in the data into Statdisk or Statcrunch (or importing it into one of these), and then do you analysis there.

Other than that this looks great! I can't wait to see the analysis.

The form Survey - Education and Yearly Income is no longer accepting responses.Try contacting the owner of the form if you think this is a mistake.

Are you building any models out of the data?  If you are, you are generally supposed to take the log of compensation when it is the dependent variable. <the more you know rainbow>
